It's going to be so weird if MJD gets signed elsewhere today.

Its going to be great! Can't wait. Good riddance.

Yep, I still hold a grudge from the holdout and subsequent sub par play since.

I with you. I would like to see MJD back. IMO he's not gonna get anything better then what the jags are offering. Either way we still need to draft a RB.

Sad to see him go.  Won't be like Freddy though, that was odd for me to see him in a Patriots uniform.

Can you imagine if KC signed Maurice Jones-Drew behind that Oline and working with Jamarcus Charles under Andy Ried (whom always has use for a receiving /blocking running back).  It would be a sick combo a lot like when it was him and freddy but with a better Oline & coach.

Quote:It would have been if not for his holdout.  Now I'm indifferent.

Freddy T?  Now, that was sad.

dude get over it. It's business. He's still one of the best to ever put on a Jags uniform.

Should MJD's name be in the Ring of Honor at the stadium?

Its not trolling. I do not have a favorable opinion of MoJo sans the holdout.

And stating that he does not belong in the Jags Honor roll is hardly trolling either. He doesn't belong. Unless you pretty much have zero standards.

yeah how dare he try to get more money when he (or his agent) knew his best days were behind him...scum!

So no player that holds out should ever be in a team's ring of honor?

Worst to 1st.  Curse Reversed!

Got my MJD jersey on. He was my favourite player when I started watching the Jags and was our best player for quite a while.

Who said my opinion on that is just about the holdout?

I'm not sure his play was at an elite level long enough that should earn him that honor.

Quote:It'll be weird, in large part because it is unlikely he will sign today.

In fact, I'd be stunned if he signed anywhere before the draft.

Part of that might be due to MJD.  If I were him, I'd be looking for a playoff team for that last shot.  If he's been wise, he doesn't need the money, so chase the ring.
