For Jacksonville to be like Seattle and win Super Bowls

#21

With the way that defense was playing, henne could have QB'd that game to a win.

Manziel is a child.

Jags drafting Manziel is impossbille, its been reported by most Texans fans they tanked so they could draft him.  as for MJD he probbley played his last game as a jag.

Your teal koolaid has been SPIKED!

I would love to see Maurice Jones-Drew remain a Jaguar, and i  feel he deserves a fair salary but the truth is he wants top dollar for more than 4 years and Dave (GM) has already said that the Jaguars are going to let him test the FA waters.... based on his hard work ethic, high character, and ability to catch, block & run I expect a team in need will pay up to franchise tag prices for him for four years.. so I highly doubt he'll be a Jaguar by the start of next season.

Manziel seems promising but Im against the Jaguars taking a QB in the 1st round, i hope they get a guy like Clowney.

It's true, anyone who really compares Manziel to Wilson needs a partial lobotomy. They are nothing alike except that they are short and athletic, and they even use their athleticism in vastly different ways.

However, the absolutely comical part of the post is that the OP thinks current day MJD is on the same level as Marshawn...

Where did I say mjd is lynch I said bruiser you're dumb and the qbs are comparable where manziel has better accuracy and mobility that's why he is a first rounder a playmaker we already missed on the playmaker I wanted last year in Mathieu and even saying that clowney is the best player in this draft

If we resign MJD it better be because he's worked out like a monster this off season and is in better shape than ever.

Quote:The only reason I say get manziel is because he plays like Wilson and you can't get him in the third we need a mobile qb
Wilson was drafted in the third round. Don't tell anyone that you cant get a QB like Wilson in the third round.....

Failure is not an option. 2nd place = 1st loser.

I like Manziel he is a little short for my liking but I wouldn't be upset if got him Mathieu is short to he played well clowney is good he could be dominate

I think the hardest part about the possiblity of Maurice Jones-Drew not returning is that we have that uncertainity now at position that was always our strongest point.  I think back to 2006 season, Freddy T was still going strong when MoJo started showing flashes and then destroyed the Colts in December as he became the rushing duo for crazy combined yards.  As MoJo gave warnings when Shad became the owner of wanting to leave the Jaguars due to contracts, I feel we shouldve tried to draft a running back in the 1st round instead of a LT.  Oh well...

I wonder if Clowney isnt available why not trade down for the extra pick in order to get that running back, QB and DE the team really needs!

I'm a fan of all of this. All of it. I may even make this my mission statement.

I'm trying to make myself more informed and less opinionated.

Stop saying whatever stupid thing you're talking about and pay attention to all the interesting things I have to say!

I'm not trying to be mean but I think you need a dose of reality.

For us to be like Seattle we would need:

1. Much better play at the QB position:Henne, Gabbert, or Stanzi could not play as well as Wilson on his worst day.

2. A new RB. Mojo is not in Beast Modes league right now.

3. An offensive line that can consistently run block and protect their QB

4. 4 new starters on the defensive line. Seattle has a defensive line that is worlds better than ours

5. Lb's that make plays and create turnovers. Again their lb group is much better than ours

6. We would need a new secondary. Seattle has a rare defensive backfield that is very big and very fast. Their corners just smother wr's and their db's lay the wood. They are also very smart and create turnovers. There is not a defensive backfield currently in the NFL close to being as good as the hawks.

We may be pretty close then.

Its alot about raiding the seahawks free agents. there are some really good big guys that can play the 5 technique and they cat keep both. i also think we should draft clowney and his running mate less heralded on the inside of the line kelcy Quarles he's a man and probably a 3rd rounder. lets face it alualu cant cut it in this d. wild idea Vick is a free agent and he is going to be cheap after having a kid take his job. Not to mention he may put some butts in the seats.

I've noticed that threads like these are usually started by posters who have a post-count under 500.

Should the board consider implementing post requirements?

I'm just saying we have an opportunity to get these players right now I know we're a lot different than Seattle I just think these are two of the components on offense that are dynamic to what they do I like players that are multiple in their abilities as say a mobile pocket passer just gives your team more options and makes it hard on defenses

I do think Vick would be the back up option if we don't resign henne but Vick does want to start

Dosent matter how many posts you have if you still post nonsense and common thinking like you do and also your posts during the season were embarrassing knee-jerk reactions
