Terribly sad news Drifter. Spend as much time with him as you can.

 

My mother was put in Hospice care a week after I retired from my corporate job. Thankfully, I was able to spend everyday with her for her last weeks. I'm forever grateful for that.

 

Also, create a memorial in your father's name so you can visit it without going to the cemetery.
