Pro Bowl rosters announced, Jags shunned

Wasn't the selection process changed this year for the Pro Bowl? Deion Sanders and Jerry Rice will select players (already selected by fans/coaches) for AFC/NFC sides. Whether it'll continue to be designated as NFC vs. AFC will remains to be seen...

This is stupid.

So if a guy racks up a crapload of tackles 4 & 5 yards downfield (which is what Poz has done a lot of this season) then he deserves a pro bowl???

Our defense sucked this year. No one is deserving of a pro bowl from it. No one. Not even close, really.

Anybody who thinks anyone on this roster is a pro bowler, or all pro worthy is delusional. Posluzny is a good player, but i don't think one of the best.

Was Patrick Willis more deserving of a Pro Bowl invite?

Josh Scobee is the only guy for whom an argument could be made.

It's not worth worrying about, though. If this team had an elite QB he'd likely pull another 3 or 4 guys into the pro bowl with him.

Find the QB and everything else will be good.

Pro Bowl doesn't mean anything. Its the All-Pro teams that actually matter.

Anyone who doesn't think Poz is pro-bowl worthy is delusional.

You are delusional. Sometimes I wonder if you post drunk or if you are that bad at player evaluation.

Every game Poz was all over the field making plays. He has excellent range...

Fault, however, lies with our Defense Tackles.

They were beyond suspect...letting blockers and running backs burst through on a consistent basis.

And yet you lay the blame at Poz's feet for doing his job? That's quite hilarious.

If the pro bowl wasn't a joke I'd be upset, but as it is, who cares.

The DT;s?? Including the one that just got a contract extension/ raise? lolz.

Poz was practically a 2 down LB at times over the past 2 seasons. He's not terrible, and makes plays at times, but he's nowhere near worth a PB berth or worthy of his salary.

This fanbase has issues with overrating a lot of its own players. I guess thats probably an issue with a lot of fanbases, but its annoying nonetheless.

Just because someone leads the league in punting does not make them a pro-bowler.

On this team

No DB or LB has more interceptions than Poz. Only one DB has more passes defensed than him (Alan Ball).

No LB, DT, or DE has more tackles for a loss than him. No DL or LB has more solo tackles or assists than him….Oh and no LB on this team has more sacks than him.

That tells me that he is all over the field…in coverage, at the LOS as well as behind it, but go ahead and blame the fact that our run Defense sucks because of him. LOL.

Our Defensive Tackles did NOT get the job done in rush defense this year.

There is no way around that fact… If they were playing well all year then we would not be ranked 30th in the league against the run, but go ahead and blame it on Posluzney.

Carry on…

1 of these guys IS NOT a pro bowl selection at inside linebacker. Just by going off of INDIVIDUAL STATS (which what it should go by) tell us the # who you think is not the pro bowler.

LB#1 had 98 total tackles, 3 sacks, 1 passes defended, and 2 forced fumbles

LB#2 had 158 total tackles, 3 sacks, 2 INT, 1 TD, 9 Passes defended and 1 forced fumble

LB#3 had 135 total tackles, 4 sacks, 1 INT, 1 TD, 8 passes defended, 1 forced fumble

LB#4 had 146 total tackles, 2 sacks, 4 INT and 7 passes defended

LB#5 had 157 total tackles, 3 sacks, 1 INT, 8 passes defended, 1 forced fumble

I used the same site to acquire all these stats.

If Poz made the exact same plays on a popular team or was a "bug name" he'd be in the Pro Bowl. Over the last few years the Pro Bowl has been mostly a popularity contest and the new fantasy draft format makes it even more ridiculous

Who the hell was worthy that you would consider got snubbed??

We had no players this year worthy of a PB inclusion. Poz??? No. Anger? Theres better in the AFC.
We already knew you were an idiot, but saying Poz doesn't deserve it just confirmed that. He by far had a better year than Willis and Burfict who made it..

Calling him an idiot for his opinion, go away and shut up. It's his opinion

Poz is a good player, lot of those tackles are open field tackles, that being said, can't take away from a good season, don't call someone an idiot for stating his opinion, he was not chosen.
