Welker had Brady and now has Manning.   Also, don't forget that Welker is personally responsible for the losing the SB to the Giants and also blowing the AFC Championship game vs the Ravens.  The dude knows how to drop passes in critical situations.

If you want to compare him to another NFL receiver, he's more like Julian Edelman. Not super fast, but quick, shifty, and has great moves in space.

The more and more I see him.  I see a elusive shorter receiver who can catch.     Very explosive and can be lined up everywhere.   With a ultra high ceiling.
