QB for week 9

#21

Quote:Oh no! That's harsh, but there was no way to know. Who are you starting next week?

Since there's not a ton of names worth picking up in free agency, I figure I'll hang onto a backup QB just in case Peyton does get hurt. I currently have Jake Locker who got me a whopping 10 points last week, although he does have an attractive schedule going forward. Other option are Nick Foles who just tied the TD passing record vs the Raiders, but with Vick just about at full health there's no guarantee Nick will start the rest of the season. Then I still have Case Keenum as an option or Jay Cutler whose owner cut him loose the day he got hurt, and really I think it's down to these two. Cutler is expected to start this week vs the Lions unless he has a set-back, and he for sure starting after that. Since Peyton is healthy, whoever I get is definitely sitting on my bench week 10.

Case of course had a monster game throwing it up to Andre Johnson, but can he keep it going as teams quickly gather tape on him? Cutler also has a very attractive schedule, and he's good for right about 20 points every week practically guaranteed.

Rivers. Got him in the very last round of my draft, if you can believe that.

I haven't been doing very well this season... Still second place in my division despite being 7-11 (we play two games a week) though so... Yay?

I can believe that. Rivers was available in our league until about week three.

I didn't get it. Bradford, Weeden, Tannehill, Dalton, and Freeman all went several rounds before Rivers.

For what it's worth, I'm plugging Locker in with Rodgers taking a fall.

Ouch. I escaped with minor wounds compared to you.
