Doing so would give some easily 'swayed' fans the impression that Gus really wasn't 'that bad' as a head coach... and that would be utterly misleading. I was one to want to give Gus the benefit of the doubt for as long as reasonable... well, that benefit of doubt has long since been used up and he (Gus) has left no doubt on any reasonable football fans mind as to his ineptitude as a head coach.
