I wouldn't be surprised if they traded him. I can see the Dolphins, Patriots, and even the Chiefs going after him. It'd be pretty cool to see him go back to Kansas City.

 

I think the Chiefs are making an effort to try to get him for a 5th.  The Falcons I think said they are leaving it up to Tony G.

I was wrong about Trent Baalke. 

Now they are saying that Jones may have broken the screw put in his foot when he broke that same foot several years ago....which would obviously have complications in surgery and could lead to a chronic issue going forward...

 

This was mentioned at the time of his drafting as something that caused some teams issue with drafting Jones, and now those fears have proven justified. 

 

Back then I said it was a stupid trade to make for the Falcons and too much of a gamble, and well, as usual....you know...

 

I hope that Caldwell doesn't have any ideas of replicating any stupid trade ups like that one in Atlanta that he may have had a part in.

While the Falcons paid a high price for Julio Jones, my guess is they have no regrets about the trade. A strong case can be made that Julio Jones has emerged into a top 5 NFL WR. That one handed catch Jones made last night was extraordinary.

Heck, I'd probably rank him #2 behind Calvin Johnson. Easy the 2nd most physically gifted behind CJ.

When relatively healthy,  a case can be made that Julio Jones is the 2nd best WR in the NFL.        A.J. Green and Larry Fitzgerald are probably the other 2 WR's that warrant serious consideration in being recognized as the 2nd best WR in the league.

Very valid point regarding the Falcons lack of depth because of the Julio Jones trade.   

 

While I believe the Falcons would still make the trade if they knew what would transpire up to now,     the trade made the Falcons margin of error less with their other personnel decisions.        One thing the Falcons didn't count on is the struggles of C Peter Konz.
