Caldwell Now Is The Time To Release Gabbert!

#21

Quote:Tampa Bay released Josh Freeman earlier today. Now would also be a good time for Caldwell to send a direct statement to the team and the league by parting ways with Gabbert.

I'm curious, what message exactly is this going to 'send to the team and league'?  Especially the league.

Quote:NOOOO ROLL WITH GABBERT.

Gabbert plus this team= Bridgewater

Freeman with this team= 5-11 and miss out on the top prospect, another extra year of bad

I think you mean 3-13 given this team's talent.  Still enough to put as at picking #3 out of range for Bridgewater and Clowney.

I was wrong about Trent Baalke.

Quote:We need to release him on the principle that he hurts the human eye to watch play football but Caldwell won't.

BTW anyone else catch good ole coach Gus' press conference ?

He says everybody is doing a good job! Whew! I was worried there for a second. i guess everything is ok.
What was he supposed to say?  All the players suck and whats the point in going on with the season?

Lol isn't this the truth, no better way to tank than with Gabbs, even a Bill Belicheck in 2005 trying to lose to get the injured Jags for the first round would have a hard time losing to Gabb's. I mean Caldwell can honestly say his guys are giving it 100% while we go 0-16. If we cave now and get the Freeman's of the world, we will be overall losers again.

Yes, it's improvement, but it's Blaine Gabbert 2012 level improvement. - Pirkster

So does the play on the field by the jaguars. It will be there in protest until the abomination of Gene Smith is no longer playing QB
