I actually like him and Peterman as potential mid round guys

I wouldn't be against taking either Davis, Peterman or Zach Terrell as competition for Bortles in the later rounds.

Kinda wary of Air Raid guys who don't win much games.

I like this kid, Pat Mahomes from Texas Tech, DeShaun Watson from Clemson and Luke Falk from Washington State as day two or three draft options.

Mahomes and Watson would likely go in the late 1st to early 2nd round.

Yeah- Mahomes will probably go late in the 1st.

I think Kiper or Mayock is calling him their #2 QB in the draft already.

I'm interested in him too, but was trying to identify 3rd round or later prospects when I started checking out Webb. Mostly because I think that if DC is still GM he's more likely to draft a QB in a middle round than the 1st or 2nd.

They're that high on Mahomes already? Mostly everywhere I looked had him maybe as a 3rd RD pick at the earliest. I know he had a huge game not too long ago. I like him but I don't think he should go that early.

I think he will go late 1st/early 2nd too. No reason Paxton Lynch should rise as high as he did and Mahomes can't. He could rise even higher than that.

Seems that way, yes.  Though it's just in the past few weeks that his stock has jumped. Even the topic QB of the thread moved up boards in the time since I started the thread.

Lots of time though and plenty can change.

People think there's a 50/50 shot that Josh Allen will declare now too. If he does then he could challenge Mahomes for my top developmental QB.

I was at the game, by far the best player there IMO. Made some NFL throws that no other QB could make. OJ Howard showed out as well.

Zay Jones and Kareem Hunt as well.

Tanoh Kpassagnon is very physically impressive. He played well, had some nice rushes.

However, none of those OTs could stop anybodies speed rush. Talk about lead in your shoes with those OTs.

I was not impressed with Webb. I didn't think he was even the best QB there, much less the best player.

Bumping this thread as Webb is climbing boards. May not be there in the third or fourth as a "value pick" anymore.

Velocity numbers from the combine show Webb second only to Mahomes:

I was just thinking the same thing...They have been saying they were bringing in real competition for Blake but where is it?

Webb is slotted to go late 3rd round to somewhere in the 4th. It's a safe bet he won't be there in round 5.

With his in mind, I'm waiting until our early round 4 pick and hoping Webb is still there. In round 3 I'm only going qb if we have a shot at Kaaya or Peterman.
