Bull [BLEEP], he wants a registry of Muslim refugees, something anyone with an IQ over potato also wants.

Good thing we aren't accepting Muslim refugees anymore and are blocking immigration from terror-prone nations

Add that to the list.

It is not good at all to tell people they can't come here because they are Muslims.

Quote:Trump wants Muslims to register akin to the registry Jews had in Nazi Germany.

We'll see how that unfolds.

No. He just wants to spy on them wherever they congregate. I seem to remember hearing something about peaceably assembling somewhere, but I no longer remember where.

i added the promise about vetting, which is a direct response to the UN globalist immigration policies in Europe that have been a disaster.  anything about "spying on communities" wasn't really part of his campaign. maybe a few off the cuff remarks might have been interpreted that way.  however, no spying was promised... at least no more spying than is ALREADY HAPPENING.

it's so broad and subjective it's not worth noting.  even Obama says he "prevented financial crisis" because well... he says he did. so it must be true.  my point is, at the end of it all Trump can say "I made America great again" no matter what happens.

Do we have adding jobs to inner cities ravaged by crime on the list? I know that was a promise under his "what have you got to lose" header.

i believe that could be built into the NAFTA and TPP promises... as well as the infrastructure promise

We need to add jobs in cities that are not ravaged by crime too.

"What have you got to lose?" The Congressional majority in 2018.

i added his idea to enhance legal immigration.  like he said, illegals will have to leave, but legals will be able to come through "the big door" in the wall.  one problem is illegal immigration is actually encouraged by current admins because legal immigration has become almost impossible

Mmmm.. he billed that as a specific way to fix the inner cities. He said they were desperate places where there are no jobs. He said he would fix that. Not sure NAFTA and TOP are gonna specifically impact the inner city issues he said he would fix.

NAFTA and TPP are deals that allow jobs to be exported. To bring jobs to the inner cities, Trump would have to back out of them and bring the jobs back here.

TPP would definitely hurt jobs here long term. NAFTA and plants moving to Mexico is a huge problem for people in inner cities who would otherwise be working for these companies.  you bring jobs back or foster job creation through lower taxation, plus rebuild infrastructure, that's how you create job growth... that's the apparent idea anyway

If those jobs don't make their way to the inner cities ravaged by crime, how will those areas be improved? A promise is a promise.

i mean, making a note for "make our inner cities great again" is just like noting MAGA as a promise. it's too broad.  however, his plans of accomplishing that are what i think are worth noting

He blamed Dems for ruining the inner cities and said he would fix them. Poverty. Crime. Education. Joblessness. "I will fix it. I'll bring jobs. I'll bring great education. I'll bring safe neighborhoods." If you don't add this to the list, you are making an incomplete list. He promised this on the campaign. "A Trump presidency will bring economic prosperity to all our people." Put up or shut up.

If the jobs don't make it back, then the promise isn't kept. Crime is heavily influenced by education and poverty. You can help resolve poverty by providing jobs, which trade re-negotiation, small business creation via tax/regulation cuts, and infrastructure spending *should* do. Also eradicating common core, providing school choice, expanding school-type options, and encouraging vocational training can go a long way in improving education. I am hoping whoever Trump puts in charge of education takes a strong look at Finland's very effective educational system, which is much different than ours.

Also, allowing state police officers to do their jobs without a threatening and abusive DoJ can improve efficiency within policing.

I don't know any statistical links between unemployment and crime, but there probably is one. Jobs can make their way back to cities like Chicago, where Trump said thousands of people have been murdered in recent years.
