Mitch Trubisky

I'd just give Bortles another year then give up whatever you have to for Rosen... none of the qbs in this draft are any good

If the Browns pass on him and we are picking top 5. I would draft him. He has great vision, great legs to move around with, and a very quick release. He can also throw the deep ball well. For me it would either him or Watson as the most ready QBs coming out this year. I wouldn't mind Kaaya in the 2nd. But with a new coach we need a QB fast because we have a great defense and Bortles is still a project.

<p class="">Have full notes now on 6 Trubsiky games. More positives in those notes than on any other QB in this class.

Just realized Trubisky is from Ohio. Yup, he is going to be a Brown.

His name is Trubisky, he's terrible. Have you guys not learned from Bortles and Gabbert?

Better than Bortles.

I like Trubisky if they take a QB early.

The glaring difference between watching Trubisky's cut-ups and Blake's are that Trubisky makes the easy stuff look easy.   Blake - not so much.

(Solid footwork and mechanics clearly the difference-making factor here. )

Plus, Trubisky can throw the fade. Blake cannot.

His nickname is "Mr.Biscuit"

That's a huge red flag for me. No good QB would ever have that nickname.

Pass.

He officially declared.

Good news for us.  If we can get a team to grab a QB before us, that gives us more options.  Allen probably still won't fall to us, but we'll still get an elite prospect.

Watched several cut ups: Pitt, FSU, Stanford, Duke and I think he'll be a solid hit for Cleveland at QB.. For the most part, he looks and plays the part of a top pick at QB. A knock on him in the process will probably be experience, he's only started the one season at the college level.

I thought for sure he'd stay in school and refine his game, but I guess the money was too much temptation. I saw him twice last year and the kid has potential, but he is nowhere near ready to start in the pros. He's really going to struggle his first few years in the league. I see his upside to be like that of Ryan Tannenhill, but if starting him too soon is so overwhelming that it gets in his head, he could be another Blaine Gabbert. It all depends on how mentally tough he is. I think this goes to show how poor this QB class is, when the best guy is an underclassmen who is being rushed into the league after starting only one season. I see red flags.

He'll benefit from teams not having several years of film on him.  Smart choice declaring.

I don't think so, unless they trade up. I see them taking Myles Garrett with that first pick. Then think they try to trade back up in the top 4 to get Trubisky. They may offer a boatload and we'd be fools not to take it. If they don't reach a deal with a team ahead of us. If they can't, I see them taking Garrett and Watson with their first two picks.

Browns probably most likely to address their QB situation via trade/FA if I had to guess.

That could be. I know they really like Trubisky, but I could easily see them trading for Jimmy G., Tony Romo or even A.J. McCarron.

Cleveland might be able to get Trubisky at #12. The kid is talented but not NFL ready.
