More national media bias

At this point I can care less. Let them continue to forget about us and underestimate us all the way to the super bowl.

The media should have made it headline news that we beat the struggling bungles at home. Just like they have done with every other team that has beaten the bungles.

Oh wait....

Funny thing is we're one game back from the #1 seed in the AFC right now. We own the tie breaker over Pittsburgh.
IT WAS ALWAYS THE JAGS

Just listened to a 20 minute piece on ESPN radio, about the Rams dismantling the Giants. That was the top story at 3:00

You mean the team that dropped a 50 burger on the giants and also beat us?

It's an outrage they would get more attention.

Los Angeles and New York vs. Jacksonville and Cincinnati.  I wonder which story will garner more interest from the media?
Never argue with idiots. They drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.

That's a game featuring teams from the two largest markets in the NFL.

Get ready for the idea that it's only going to be worse from here in terms of media coverage.

Some will be favorable due to the whole worst to first angle.  If somehow we break the '84 Bears sack record-or at least get close to it--we'll get some favorable coverage then.

But the most part?  We're gonna get a whole bunch of slights...from the constant references to our losing, to charges we didn't play anybody (just like the charge in 1999).  If we make it to the playoffs, you will hear media saying nobody in the media wants the Jaguars in the Super Bowl...yada yada yada. We'll hear stuff about attendance and a possible move to London.

So just get ready.

Worst to 1st.  Curse Reversed!

No mention of the domination in TOP.  Little mention of Bortles playing a mistake free game, and playing within himself and not hurting the team and (gasp), delivering on 3rd down (9/10 at one point).  All I'm hearing is how the Patriots and the Steelers (even after we rolled them) are the top seeds in the AFC.  And how great the Seahawks are, despite the same record.  Blah de blah de blah.  Yes they have won a Super Bowl and should have one two, but they are average at best this year IMO.  This year, they are a slow starting team that will get rolled by our defense on 12/10 if they continue in that vein.  I get that the national media doesnt trust BB5, and until the last two games, maybe fairly so.  That we are perceived as bunch of small market yahoo's who couldnt even host a proper Super Bowl week with decent weather.  It seems we will almost have to run the table to get any attention from these clowns, and flying under the radar looks better and better.  Call us the Teal Angels; fly low, hit them lower.  Props to NFL Network who still seem to recognize us as a team trending upwards.

Don't care...we are 5-3...keep winning Jags!

They can keep having a bias after we bring a Lombardi trophy home too.  That's totally fine with me!

So you're making light of us beating a struggling Bengals team, but giving credit to the Rams for destroying one of the 3 worst teams in the league? Gotcha

There's no media bias against the Jaguars, it's simply indifference.  We're a small market team thats never made it to the BIG GAME and we've been embarrassing inept for years.  5-3 is good, but not exactly a big headline.  Lack of attention is to be expected until the team proves it's for real.  Winning cures everything.
When you get into the endzone, act like you've been there before.

Its not about the attention, its a direct reply to his comment.

Oh, so the punt return was not? Or the TD catch by Lee? Interesting. New trend in 2017... Touchdowns are not REAL highlights.

If the Jaguars continue to play like they have recently, even if the media somehow ignores them for the most part, fans that pay close attention to the NFL won't.

They are on a three game winning streak that started with them beating us in our own house, have the second best record in the league, have the biggest point differential in the league, and just dropped 51 points on an NFL team and you whine because the media is giving them more attention than us?

Some of you have some serious inferiority issues.

I could care less about media attention! Most of the mainstream media has the Jags playing in London, Mexico, Norway, or wherever in 2 years. Simply stating it was a more impressive win, than beating up a Giants team that gave up weeks ago.

Philly dropped 51 as well btw

Whining? No! Complaining about media opinion? Not yet! Responding to your comment in a way that somehow upset you? I guess so!

Look in the mirror for your inferiority complex!

Done responding

I can't believe we're still whining about this. I don't give a [BLEEP] if they are being talked about by anyone as long as they keep winning.
