Are we going to make any trades?

I traded pessimism for apathy.
Only a chump boos the home team!

Quote:He's our best receiver this year, I wouldn't do it. Maybe he's finally turning into the player we drafted him to be. He shouldn't cost too much to keep, he hasn't been able to put up numbers to demand a lot.

If we could get a a 3rd for this years draft I'd do it. Its a lost year and this class is pretty good.

Trade Blake for my grandmother. She dead, but could be better than what we got.

I would think you only make an in season trade for a player when you feel like your a playoff team already.  At 2-5, our guys either figure it out on their own and make a run or they don't and we get rewarded with a high draft pick again.  Why would we try to affect these scenarios at all at this point?

How would you guys feel about trading a 4th and Walters for Haden? Could cut ties with House immediately after the season.

Ramsey, Prince/Haden, Colvin.

This is a hands down no brainer.

I suggested something similar earlier in the thread.

It makes sense. House is not going to be more than overpaid depth and Amukamara's got the injury issue plus no contract, so....

(I was thinking a fifth or sixth to pair with Benn or Walters)

If we could get that deal done, I'd do it.

This.

I'd give up just about anything for fragile Romo to come in for 3 years.

He would die. He'd be the most sacked QB in the league, just like Bortles has been.

Our pass blocking is above average. Bortles always has time to throw, he just decides not to

Still think he'd get hurt easily.

At this point we could trade for the 2000 Ravens defense and we'd still get run over by the Titans. That's just how it's going for this team. This system is utter failure.

No pain, no gain.

Nah, you have to be in the game to be the most sacked.

What exactly would we be trading to accomplish?  The team isn't a player away from going to the playoffs.  Unless you're going to trade for a head coach who can turn this thing around, there's really no point in trading anything before the deadline.

Never argue with idiots. They drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.
