Sure. When you have 200 yards rushing in the first half and best RB in the NFL, it surely helps.

He needs to start throwing side arm. Throws it better then

Funny I didn't see any tonight and 3 INTs this year were the WRs fault. What I see is a young QB who's improving.

Quote:At the beginning of the year you wouldn't have taken a 27 TD and 4,352 yard season from Bortles? He's doing his job. His running game, his defense, his coaching isn't doing theirs. Period.
He's not doing his job.  If he was we'd be winning.

Got em! He was the best Jag on the field tonight.

agreed, until we get some good run blocking linemen, they might as well replace the Runningbacks with two more linemen and just throw the ball every play from hurry up offense.  We'd probably have more luck.

Let Bortles call the plays, he obviously knows what works for him better than 3 quarters of olson calling them.

Though that's an interesting thought, let bortles be manning and just call whatever he sees fit.  At this rate it can't hurt and would only improve his football IQ.

You can't win with a 28 points allowed defense. It equates to a (5-11) record every season

Forreal, tell us who you are.  Which relative are you?  Mom, brother, dad?

Zero relative. I just know Bortles agent and the Polians. I know talent from scouts in my family. I know the Jags problems. It's 100% coaching.

Meh, part of that is the fact that our offense had seven 3 and outs.

You cant' expect a defense to play at a high caliber if they're on the field for 40/60 minutes....

I know it's standard to blame the qb but his talent is undeniable.

Luck gets a lot of garbage stats but eventually his D makes some plays

How can you legitimately say that Blake is improving. The stats are incredibly misleading as that were almost all derived from the second half, when their second string quarterback and defense was playing.

You repeatedly reference his stats as evidence of his potential but then blatantly disregard his mechanics and turnovers as well as the fact that most of his stats come at times where a win is virtually impossible.

That's on the run game more than Bortles. Mix in a few drops and awful pass protection and its messy.

This is a FOUR YEAR reoccurring theme. Gus gave up 42 points to Titans last game when Bortles threw for 5 TDs and LOST. How do you explain that?

Gus has been the problem for four seasons. It's really not rocket science.

Having scouts in your family would not give you any upper hand on spotting talent.

80% of what I talk about is nonesense.. the other 25% is made up statistics...

Bortles led the team in rushing AGAIN tonight as well. 22 yards. I wish he had more help.
