How Hurt Are You?

#21

Last night I dreamed that I feel asleep and it was 24-3 Pats near the end of the 1st quarter when I finally tuned in. Lol

I'm hurt but something about this young team breaking out with a season like this, is making me feel a little better. Just hope and pray they are as hungry and motivated next season

I wish the defense would have stepped up in the 2nd half.  And the play-calling did go scared/skittish.  I do believe we could have won despite the refs.

HOWEVER...

You shouldn't have to!

The refs gave the Pats a courtesy drive at the end of the 1st half. (7 points)

AND

They blew Jack down when he wasn't and he would have scored a TD. (7 points)

That's 14 points.  That's a VERY BIG DEAL when your'e playing the best team remaining in the playoffs.

Proud of the team, frustrated at the league. It's like the phone rang with 8 minutes left.....Jags can't beat the league. No one beats the league.

I'd rather feel the pain in January than September. We have a good forecast for the future. Great year, lots of highs some lows, but we crawled out of the cellar this year and came within a quarter of sending #12 home. Still hurts though.

Deep down I didn't think we'll win but as a fan I cheered as hard as I could

Bummed. Jags blew all of our expectations this year but it still sucks to be so close.
Here we go again

We have to find a way to get home field advantage.
No pain, no gain.

Proud. We will be a perennial contender from here on out. Add a TE and a RG and get ready for another exciting year.

I just don't know how the Pats didn't get a single penalty on offense OR defense. I saw some obvious holds on our D-Line that didn't get called, I can only imagine what was ignored everywhere else.
Someone get the odds of a team not getting a single penalty on offense AND defense.

No matter how good we were looking, there was never a point where I thought we'd win. I just assumed the Patriots would come back. Was just a matter of whether our offense could do anything and they really didnt. So conservative.

Nothing will hurt as much as that 1999 loss. Everyone knew going into that game that the next year, the team would be blown up because of the salary cap.

This year feels like the opposite. A good young team, with a foundation to build off of.

If we had lost outright, rather than getting jobbed by [BLEEP] tard officiating that calls things one way and not the other, I'd have felt better.  We won this game.  We are the better team.  We were playing against the officials.

I also feel like it's possible that we're not back here next year.  Maybe it's my Jaguar cynicism kicking in, but I'm worried this was lightning in a bottle and we're back to being [BLEEP] next year.

I don't know.

I hope things change around for you! don't feel bad tho we got so far and we just might have what it takes to do it again next season

Honestly I'm proud of our boys. We should have won that one. I want to beat the [BLEEP] out of patriots fan right now. But I'll get over it. I just watched one gets smoked in a parking lot and I'm not going to lie, it felt good. Screw them. I hope they don't let them get out players heads. That was a joke.

Devistated. To be that close and lose because we didn’t keep our foot down. Hurts a lot......

I'm more frustrated than anything, in every league I watch there is terrible reffing. Refs are deciding who wins in loses in multiple leagues. The first PI on bouye was crap IMO, forced him out of bounds and didnt lay a hand on him, others I can deal with, the homer in me wanted them not to be called. But for them to tell me the other team had 1 10 yrd penalty, and it was a ST one at that is BS. That team isnt that disciplined. The call back on delay of game was weird too, I dont know the rule that well, but they should've blow it down during the play. Lastly, why do they always rule out defence down on fumbles, thats a touchdown taken away.

Anyways, good job team, but this will stick with us for a bit.

It stings a bit at the moment, so close and the game was right there.

But this team is knocking on the door, A healthy Robinson and off season additions and we can kick the damn door down.

Been a brilliant season.
