to be honest.  jack and ramsey were the big debate with fans on who should go rd 1.  Ngakoue is the steal imo.  Jack and Ramsey are no brainers so Caldwell didnt do anything special.  His first 2 rounds are why ppl want his head.

They're only no-brainers because it turned out well for the team.

If Jack's injuries kept him from playing, then we'd be holding it against Caldwell for picking him.

i mean i wanted jaylon smith but when he got hurt in the bowl game idk how far he would fall.  I wanted either him or Myles Jack.  I would've only said he should've pick Jaylon because i honestly wanted him more because he was a pure MLB and not a RB as well.

Jags did not have an option to select Jaylon Smith in the second round.
He went before the Myles Jack selection.

It’s comical how folks want to decide which picks Caldwell deserves credit for.

He owns all the picks he made prior to the 2017 draft.

Of course the same folks that say he doesn’t deserve credit for Ramsey want to demonize him for picking Fournette and Bryan, when those decisions were shared with Tom Coughlin.

i know he did.  Dallas selected before us, hence the reason everyone i know thanks them for Jalen and they can keep Zeek.  Appreciate the insight but my point still stands.  I guess i'll change it....I would've preferred we moved up in the 2nd to secure Jaylon since i liked him more.  Again,  The pick was a no brainer.  Anything else.

It was such a no brainer that Baltimore chose to trade back with us rather than draft him. Such a no brainer no one outbid us for him or chose him earlier.

Dave deserves credit for Jack.
