DJ Chark and the WR group

Charl was our 2nd round WR last year and I don't remember anyone having high hopes for him. Hurns on the other hand was an UDRFA and he was killing OTA and TC also and we had high expectations for him his rookie year and he exceeded them

Nobody said that can't happen. Just to take all of the hype with a huge pinch of salt, when the pads come on we can garner more from their performance but overall WRs are always the most hyped players in camp even when they may not be good.

I do agree with this.  Mike Sims Walker for example.  He did look good but they acted like he was gonna be the next All Pro

Yep, its partly due to the lack of defense i guess, lots of space to make crazy one handed catches and stuff. I just remember Mike Brown being a two time camp MVP lol

Davante Parker is already headed toward his 4th straight OTA pro bowl.

It's all about being on that active roster week one. Once you get there as a vet, your entire base salary is automatically guaranteed.

Hurns knew the playbook coming in, that gave him an advantage.

This is the original JW, but not likely the one you refer to.

He had 2 TDs in his first game.  1000 yards and 10 TDs in his 2nd season.  Then injuries slowly started coming along.  Now he might not ever play again after his last injury

All reports are that Hurns will be playing in preseason. His injury wasn't close to as bad as it looked, was already back working out in March

I remember him saying he will be ready at the starting of the season.  Hopefully he comes back 100%

It was just a dislocated ankle in the end, not close to a career ender

I just hope we don't lead the league in drops again. If we can get that to middle of the pack, it would be good
