I can not for the life of me see how they are going to start Cann. He has been TERRIBLE in the first two games and Richardson has actually been decent.

Sounds like they are keeping Richardson available for LT, maybe Cann and Taylor work better together? At this point I've given up trying to figure out what is going through anyone associated with the team's heads

The issue is with Cann. Cann has been miserable and Richardson is just a flat out better RG than him.

Cann is an issue for sure.
I project/hope Richardson to be better than Cann.
But the here and now? I'm not sure how you can say he is flat out better right now.
Here and now, Richardson is better.

I’ve watched Cann play for 4 years or so and he’s not good. Richardson played well in both starts defending Frank Clark and the Texans? Did he make mistakes? Sure but he’s still better than Cann

Id be more comfortable if Richardson had the whole week to prepare for a position he hasnt started at yet.
And would prefer to keep the vet next to the rookie tackle
But yea definitely looking forward to seeing Cann hit the bench after this week

Why does Richardson need a whole week, he had 1 practice when he started and shutdown a star DE. He did the same thing the Texans DEs. He's practiced all summer at RG.

Another stupid idea by Moron.

Richardson played well at times on Sunday vs the texans, but lets not act like he shut them down. He got straight up whipped by Mercilus multiple times. Pretty sure all 3 of Minshew's fumbles came from that side.

He should definitely get the start at RG over Cann though. We've seen what Cann can do for 4 years now. Very rarely has it been good and I don't think much is going to change going forward in his play.

Richardson should definitely get the nod, but Marrone said don't be surprised if both Ogbuehi and Richardson play on TNF. I'd be willing to bet Cann's leash is going to be very, very short.

Thank you for explaining that to that guy. He's not very smart at comprehending, it seems

They weren't caused by Robinson though. They were caused by other OL getting killed or not picking up a stunt and Minshew holding the ball too long.

I just went back and watched the fumbles again.

The 1st fumble was caused by Norwell completely missing his block on #57.

The 2nd fumble was caused by Mercilus 1 on 1 vs Richardson, but Norwell got pushed back into Minshew's lap by #57 again and blew the play up. Norwell got bull rushed and pushed back bad. Mercilus cleaned it up as Minshew tried to move to his right. Richardson got him on the first punch, but Mercilus won on the 2nd. Norwell was definitely the main cause though.

The 3rd fumble was caused by Mercilus 1 on 1 vs Richardson again. Richardson got straight up whooped by the spin move this time though. He straight up whiffed, it was a great spin by Mercilus. Minshew had no chance.

Happy to see fully healthy O line out there. Titans gave up 100 yards on 20 carries to Browns week 1 and 167 yards on 35 carries to the Colts. Maybe a good week to get ol' 3-Nette rolling?

I don't think Richardson played well at LT vs the Texans.

But that doesn't mean he can't be an upgrade over Cann at RG.

Worst to 1st.  Curse Reversed!

Agreed.

At least we have options at RG now  - and I did see a tweet quoting Marrone saying Richardson and Ogbuehi could both get snaps tomorrow night. That could be interesting.  I'm assuming that's a contingency if Cam's knee isn't holding up or if Cann is struggling.
