I guess Calais Campbell is garbage since Ari let him go. What kind of context do you have have? He is one of the better LBs side line to side line in the league and good in coverage. He a good all around LB. The league dont just give out All Pro selections and Only one player in college gets the Butkus Award. Mosley has been good at every level and in the 1 game he played with the Jets he had a pick 6. Yeah man, the Alabama Butkus Award winner and 4 time All Pro in 5 years is garbage lol. It dont really matter because the Jets wont let him go

No one thought Calais was going to continue playing at a high level.

However the Ravens let Mosley go in his “prime”. They let him go because he actually couldn’t cover people sideline to sideline.

I never claimed Mosley is garbage but I do think he’s vastly overrated (by you) and I wouldn’t want to trade for him and his contract.

If Caldwell and Marrone are back you may be right. If they're gone I expect another teardown and an uncompetitive season by design next year. There won't be any reason not to jettison Foles. They're going to save $35 million just by cutting Campbell and Dareus. They'll also probably cut Bouye and Lee for another $20+ million in cap savings.

They might be able to sign Ngakoue but probably not much more than that. It's going to be a rough season in 2020. The team painted itself into a corner with that moronic Foles contract.

I'd be surprised if we cut Campbell. I'd be shocked, if we cut Bouye. Dareus, Lee, Swaim and Jake Ryan are goners. Those cuts save $35 million. Even if we trade Foles, there will still be a ton of dead money left. He's staying through 2020, then there is an out clause after the 2020 season. Until then, we're just gonna have to bite the bullet.

That would literally be a Godsend for us. A Christmas miracle!

Campbell was only 30 and Den and Jax wouldn't of went in a bidding war for that big contract if they didnt think Campbell was going to play at a high level. Its kind of like Jax didnt keep AR and Fowler in their prime because the didnt want to pay the money. If the Raven wanted to keep Mosley they had to make him the highest paid inside LB in the league and they didn't want to do that but the Jets did

Theres some good players on the list but looking at teams cap room, so many teams with tons if cap. We dont. Unless we make some moves to clear a big chunk but we always have to pay a bit more to get guys, I just dont see us doing much.

Unfortunately, we still eat the entirety of the amortized bonus on next year's cap, unless he receives some divine inspiration to repay that portion back to us.

Maybe Jason Mendoza can appear to him from beyond the grave....
