Calm down, its just the first game of his career. And it was against a top 3 O-Line.

Good

Defense wasn't as terrible at times
Henderson had a very good 1st game
Shenault was ok
Robinson was really good
Minshew good

Bad

I don't think I saw a single hole for Robinson in the second half.
Still a lot of trouble stopping the run
While I couldn't watch the whole game I didn't see anything from Chaisson
Nothing from the TE's
O-line is not good

Great win and I hope they keep it up.
Chaisson looked good in the 2nd half.  Im not even talking about the int called back. He started to settle in and apply some pressure and even looked good in coverage one play I remember

Crow check please.

Win was great and it is a good step forward on a genuine team effort. Lot of work to do but it is a good starting point for this year. Defense is very susceptible to the run. We will no more next week.

I will lean into optimism with demonstrated development. Good job undrafted rookie running back.

Well, I was at the game and was shocked to say the least after the opening drive, but Minshew pulled it together for the win. It was a good game to attend

I will eat crow if they improve over the entire season and not just one game. It was a good game but not ready to say the two stooges have done good.

I'm so glad the Jags pulled a win you could see and experience in person. There is nothing like it. I definitely miss the game day experience.

I am definitely surprised and happy. I didn't expect it and will have to wait at least another 1 to games to 2 if this is for real. Dave Caldwell should be our top scout but not our gm.

I hope that this is something that I'll eat future crow about, but I wonder if the Colts weren't taking an undrafted rookie running back seriously in the first half.  People are quick to criticize Fournette, but it's very difficult for any running back to run into a wall of defenders.  Robinson saw that in the second half.  Fournette saw that in both halves last year.

As for stopping the run, it depended.  They actually did a surprisingly good job at stopping the run in obvious run situations.  The Colts tried to run it four times from the 12 yard line and got stopped on downs.  There were a couple of other times when they did an excellent job against the run on 1st and 2nd downs only to give up a pass on third down.  That being said, the team struggled when it wasn't an obvious run and they struggled majorly against screens and other short passes to running backs.

Chaisson did have an interception that was called back on an irrelevant penalty on another player.  It's true that he didn't get as much pressure as I would have hoped, but you need to consider:  1.  The Colts have one of the best offensive lines in the NFL.  2.  Rivers has a quick release.  3.  The Jaguars rarely blitzed.  4.  It was Chaisson's first game.

I agree that we could use more from the TE's.  Both Eifert and O'Shaughnessy had a reception but only for a combined 8 yards.  That being said, the game plan was clearly to spread the ball around.  10 different Jaguars players caught receptions.

The o-line actually looked better than I thought.  Although four sacks, a couple of those could be blamed on Minshew holding onto the ball for too long.  Robinson also had some nice holes to run through in the first half prior the Colts making adjustments.

Definitely was impressed that they won today and want everyone to enjoy the win!

I am curious to see what kind of year the Colts have with Rivers. I still don’t see the Jags making the playoffs or anything (just one or two injuries away from disaster) but I’ll gladly enjoy the ride if they can be competitive and get all of the young guys going.

I called the score exactly right on this one in the prediction thread - 27-20...

... but in favor of the colts.

I guess I'll have an appetizer portion of buffalo crow wings.

For a jag win I’d eat crow for breakfast lunch and dinner. If I’m going to be wrong on something, let it be the jags losing...

Or the stock market going down....

I met a fellow Jag fan at my son's game on Saturday. He called Robinson going off and the Jags winning. So, no crow for that kid, lol.

I am glad the Jags won. Now I'm at work which is about 2 hours from Indy getting "don't say a word" glares from my coworkers. LOVE IT. I still have a hard time seeing more than 4 wins this season, but I will gladly eat as much crow as needed.

That is insane and didn't realize that happen.

I am not getting over giddy on win numbers just want to see football plays and development.  We will know if we are build something that can keep going. Injuries happen and this team could use more talent but it is all about seeing if the coaches are up to the task.

For one game in, it feels better than it has for some time now.
