I really expected more from Josh Allen thus far and I haven't seen them doubling him a bunch.
Henderson had a bad game but he's a rookie and played well the first two weeks so perhaps he'll bounce back. But the entire secondary got tore up this game.
The play from the safety position is just not good.
No rush and secondary guys out of position too often.


Guess a good name is holey crap.
Or dump and flush.
Something to do with [BLEEP]

Henderson had a bad game but he's a rookie and played well the first two weeks so perhaps he'll bounce back. But the entire secondary got tore up this game.
The play from the safety position is just not good.
No rush and secondary guys out of position too often.

The secondary is bad but the pass rush is worst.

I think it's time that we acknowledge one of the reason Josh Allen had 10 sacks last year is because he had Campbell and Ngakoue on the other end eating up the offensive line's attention

That's fair. But he hasn't been getting doubled a lot from what I've noticed. I would think he'd still be able to beat some guys every now and then. He's had a few flashes (mostly in the tack game) but hasn't really gotten home.

I thought Allen's production would fall off sharply, but it's even worse than I expected. You can't take away 2 of 3 pass rushers (Ngakoue and Campbell) from an elite defense and still be effective. He has no edge rusher on the other side drawing attention and no inside pass rusher helping as well. It's all on Allen and it isn't working. What happened to the 3-4 looks we were supposed to be mixing in this season? With 2 smaller, quicker pass rushers like Allen and Chaisson, it seems to me they might be more effective playing off the ball as OLB's in certain passing situations. Try something! The soft zone, base scheme is failing miserably.
