You believe Joe Biden isn't actually the US President. You believe there was widespread fraud in the last presidential election. You probably believe Pizzagate was a real thing. Next you're going to tell me that the earth is really flat and the moon landings were faked. Hey, I'm willing to debate any of your nutty conspiracy theories with you but you bore me with your name calling and personal attacks. I'm out.

It's Kamala, Soros, Clinton, Rice and the rest of the looney faction. Yes, I do believe there was wide spread fraud in this election. If you don't, then you're much more stupid than i give you credit for. This isn't the first time fraud has taken place either. It happens every election cycle, even on smaller scales (see Brenda Snipes). Yes, other countries try to interfere with our elections, but guess what, our country tries to influence elections as well. It's been a common practice, probably for as long as we've held elections. Every country does it.. Pizzagate? No.. The Earth is not flat and I believe the moon landing was in fact, real. Personal attacks? I don't consider that a personal attack, just calling it as I see it..

I believe there is a deep state, but it's not a cabal of wealthy elites. It's entrenched bureaucrats that operate behind the scenes. Corruption in our government began in the 60s due to the cold War. Certain agencies grew to rapidly and were given too much unchecked maneuverability. The American public is to stupid to put limitations on them. These officials have become major influencers when it comes to policy decisions. Corporations, bankers, big pharmaceutical, big tech, and the military industrial complex has learned to exploit their influence for their own profit, which enriches everyone involved at the expense of the people. The deep state manipulates the media and politicians via leaks and disinformation, which benefits everyone at the expense of the people. Any president is only as successful as his willingness to get in bed with the lot of them. If I had to guess, the system was entrenched in the later years of the Reagan administration, but seems like a few of those factions were jockeying for control, but unified under the Trump administration due to their mutual dislike of him. Democrats have become the party of the deep state because they have adopted literally all of the policies that enable these industries to thrive, with the exception of big oil. I'm typing this on my phone as I'm riding home from vacation, so some of this is stream of thought, but I think I can support most of it. I'm open to any additions or corrections. This is basically a rough draft that is open for criticism, but you have to be a pretty blind partisan or extremely naive to think none of this is likely. I agree neither should have been elected based on mental aptitude.

You're talking about government corruption which began long before the 60s. Corruption probably goes back to the beginning of human civilization. Specifically, you're probably referring to the military-industrial complex warned about by Eisenhower in his farewell address. There are elements of that and they do have undue influence on some of our institutions. Largely those are business interests and they peddle their influence mostly above board in the form of lobbyists. That's not what the conspiracy theory crowd is typically talking about in reference to the deep state though. They literally believe that there's a secret association of government officials, celebrities, special interests and captains of industry that effectively governs the United States (or in some versions of the theory, the world) without the consent or knowledge of the people. They function as a single body in order to subvert society for their own ends. In some extreme versions of the theory, they kidnap and drink the blood of children. Sort of like a bad dystopian science fiction movie. If an organization like that did exist, surely there would be some evidence of it. Extraordinary claims require extraordinary proof and for that, there's none.

I don't think you're giving the average person enough credit. I do think that is what most conservatives are referring to when they say the deep state. Entrenched bureaucrats that manipulate policy via politicians and messaging to enrich big industry. Personally, I believe the deep state conspired to oust Trump. Not in a behind closed doors, illuminati way, but in a way that naturally occurred out of mutual self-interest. I plan to make a thread about it, that only works in conjunction with this thread. Journalism is dead. Democracy is dead. Justice is dying, but the elite are immune to it.
In America, that corruption began to rear it's head in the 60's. Eisenhower's speech was in 61, I believe, so our messages are jiving. The thing about America that makes it great is that it was born out of a desire to keep the government free from corruption, but we keep taking away the provisions that safeguard the people. We keep giving more and more power to the President, which, ultimately, puts more power in the hands of the deep state, which puts more power in the hands of these big industries. It's a terrible arrangement. Progressives are using that to usher in a change of government, and it won't turn out well for us, because there is zero attempt to root out corruption. As for the other stuff, I'd be willing to bet there are elements of truth to the tales. However, that doesn't matter, because the stories represent what people fear. It doesn't matter if elites are in back rooms, drinking the blood of children, because the story represents what people fear: Certain people have too much power, and they fear the outcome will be a world that is less kind to their children. If the common person on both sides would pay attention to the other, you'd find they fear the same thing. Instead, the elites play us against one another and get richer because of it.

What in the Wide Wide World of Sports is agoin' on here???
I think this board should take this challenge. Below are the signs of dementia. I'd be curious how many video clips posters could provide in each respective category. I'm putting my money on Biden having more, and he barely puts himself in the limelight (compared to Trump).
https://www.healthline.com/health/dement...ning-signs If you or your loved one is experiencing memory problems, don’t immediately conclude that it’s dementia. A person needs to have at least two types of impairment that significantly interfere with everyday life to receive a dementia diagnosis. In addition to difficulty remembering, the person may also experience impairments in: language communication focus reasoning 1. Subtle short-term memory changes Trouble with memory can be an early symptom of dementia. The changes are often subtle and tend to involve short-term memory. An older person may be able to remember events that took place years ago but not what they had for breakfast. Other symptoms of changes in short-term memory include forgetting where they left an item, struggling to remember why they entered a particular room, or forgetting what they were supposed to do on any given day. 2. Difficulty finding the right words Another early symptom of dementia is struggling to communicate thoughts. A person with dementia may have difficulty explaining something or finding the right words to express themselves. Having a conversation with a person who has dementia can be difficult, and it may take longer than usual to conclude. 3. Changes in mood A change in mood is also common with dementia. If you have dementia, it isn’t always easy to recognize this in yourself, but you may notice this change in someone else. Depression, for instance, is typical of early dementia. Along with mood changes, you might also see a shift in personality. One typical type of personality change seen with dementia is a shift from being shy to outgoing. This is because the condition often affects judgment. 4. Apathy Apathy, or listlessness, commonly occurs in early dementia. A person with symptoms could lose interest in hobbies or activities. They may not want to go out anymore or do anything fun. They may lose interest in spending time with friends and family, and they may seem emotionally flat. 5. Difficulty completing normal tasks A subtle shift in the ability to complete normal tasks may indicate that someone has early dementia. This usually starts with difficulty doing more complex tasks like balancing a checkbook or playing games that have a lot of rules. Along with the struggle to complete familiar tasks, they may struggle to learn how to do new things or follow new routines. 6. Confusion Someone in the early stages of dementia may often become confused. When memory, thinking, or judgment lapses, confusion may arise as they can no longer remember faces, find the right words, or interact with people normally. Confusion can occur for a number of reasons and apply to different situations. For example, they may misplace their car keys, forget what comes next in the day, or have difficulty remembering someone they’ve met before. 7. Difficulty following storylines Difficulty following storylines may occur due to early dementia. This is a classic early symptom. Just as finding and using the right words becomes difficult, people with dementia sometimes forget the meanings of words they hear or struggle to follow along with conversations or TV programs. 8. A failing sense of direction The sense of direction and spatial orientation commonly starts to deteriorate with the onset of dementia. This can mean not recognizing once-familiar landmarks and forgetting regularly used directions. It also becomes more difficult to follow a series of directions and step-by-step instructions. 9. Being repetitive Repetition is common in dementia because of memory loss and general behavioral changes. The person may repeat daily tasks, such as shaving, or they may collect items obsessively. They also may repeat the same questions in a conversation after they’ve been answered. 10. Struggling to adapt to change For someone in the early stages of dementia, the experience can cause fear. Suddenly, they can’t remember people they know or follow what others are saying. They can’t remember why they went to the store, and they get lost on the way home. Because of this, they might crave routine and be afraid to try new experiences. Difficulty adapting to change is also a typical symptom of early dementia.
