Linder still one of the best centers in the league

It's because of his cap number, nothing more.

Cut him because of his cap number?  He has been one of the few that has actually lived up to his contract and our best lineman

I wouldn't cut him. He's still probably our best and most experienced lineman but he's definitely overpaid for what he is.

He has been a solid player for us for a long time. I remember when he use to play Guard. Center suits him better!

Have you seen contracts that's been handed out over the years?  10 mil a year for a top 5 or 6 center is money well spent imo.  There are 9 centers that make 10 mil a year or more, Linder is also just as good of a guard as he is center imo.

I would like to hear examples of what Linder is talking about.. Not denying it at all, just curious what the former regime was doing differently to create something so night and day..

Linder actually answered this question to another reporter after that presser.  He was referring to food quality and increased selection, treatment availability and upgrades (in house accupuncture and other things they used to seek off site) and a desire to provide anything they expressed need for.

I thought he said something similar about Gus Bradley and later Marrone when they were around. Not that it's not true but what do you expect a player to say?
