Can't tell if this is a serious post or not. Gators can put anyone on the field on offense they want, Tennessee is not scoring 31 points against that defense. I needed that laugh this morning though, thanks man.

LOL Tenn could barley beat 2 cupcakes, while UF didnt blow out our cupcakes by 50 but at least we shut them out mostly.

As a gator fan though, Del Rio did nothing special. So losing him doesn't hurt that much, imo. He was careful with the ball and made a few good throws. If this other kid can't do that, why is he there, why was he rated highly, etc?

 

I see a close game, decided possibly, by a kick or two. (blocked XP, and a GW FG)

maybe, but this is football. any team can lose. the last time people thought Alabama was unbeatable, they lost to Auburn in dramatic fashion and then got destroyed by Oklahoma in a bowl game.

While he may not be ready he can't be that far behind. All three QB's have had the same time to learn the offense since it's the first year for all of them at UF. Plus LDR does not look like anything special at all and he's a senior.

Yeah I want to see what Trask has. 2 star recruit that shouldn't have been rated that low I believe? The article I read on him said he was almost like a Tim Tebow, 6'4''(?) 230 lbs and a cannon for an arm. They said that about Franks but that he's been struggling pretty bad since he got to Gainesville. 

 

I just want to see someone establish themselves as a superstar UF QB again like Tebow/Wuerffel. Grier was going to be that and we all know how that went.

Grier is a head case, was never going to be a superstar, and in his time at UF his numbers were not all that impressive. The main reason he didn't want to come back to UF was because he and his dad couldn't get a guarantee that he'd be the starter. No room on the roster for guys like that.

Yeah I know why he wasn't coming back. I immediately thought that he wouldn't be coming back when he was suspended. Dealing with his dad was the worst thing about Grier.

Unfortunately, I can see Tennessee winning this one because of Florida's unwelcome change at quarterback.

 

I don't know why people are concerned about UF with LDR out, he's nothing special whatsoever when watching him. I'd rather see Franks in even though Appleby will get the start. 

 

Defense will win the game though since they're #1 in most categories after playing high school teams the first three weeks. Defense is rarely a problem with UF and lol at Tennessee scoring much even if they didn't have a good defense.

Obviously I wish LDR was starting because he earned the job. It was not given to him. There had to be a reason Appleby did not win the job instead.
