The players done had it?

Because there are 4 players on defense that never come off the field: Cyprien, House, Poz, and Smith. Which means we play a lot of nickel when opposing offenses can go 4 or 5 wide. We have linebackers playing soft zones against receivers and then getting outrun. Those 4 players play over 90% of our defensive snaps. We have no sub packages. The defense is predicated on giving up 5 to 10 yard passes and hoping for a few run stuffs or errant passes to get off the field... The problem is that at times we get gashed in the run game, the 5 to 10 yard passes turn into 25 yards, and the better quarterbacks don't throw errant passes and complete 75%.

And folks want him as interim HC.

I can just see his defense being installed. It'll be like the 70's steelers only a little different....

Now that's funny. I said Marrone or Olson bc I think Bradley is holding him back somehow. Either way, anyone is better than that bum Bradley.

Listen.

I was 20ft from our bench today.

Gus isn't loosing this team.

Even odrick as mad as he was was calm and listened to Gus when he came to talk to him.

Loosing is getting to this team.

We're the only ones pointing fingers.

There is a lot of anger here and with the players I'm sure.

None of our guys were happy today during the game.

I watched SD score and almost every time our defense got on the field again?

One of our guys was delivering a CRUSHING BLOW to a charger.

They're motivated.

I believe we just need a few more games as a team to gel.

I also believe there MUST be a reason why poz is still the mlb other than his play. Because in person?

He got absolutely abused today.

It looked way worse in person than the previous games I watched on tv.

He had NO CHANCE TO KEEP UP WITH RECEIVERS.

This is how you know you're an idiot

When you watched an overmatched moron like gus bradley get one position out of the WORST coach of all time in the NFL history.. and you STILL despite having incredibly impressive drafts, good free agent signings, TIP TOP NFL recievers etc etc...... you STILL say he needs more time

I demand an IQ test this INSTANT!

I'm sure that's how you saw it but most of us are near 100% sure Gus has lost this team. Just because Odrick was listening to him doesn't mean anything other than he was being a professional.

Who knows why Poz is still in almost 90% of the game? He is being misused in his position as are many of the players.

This team is being mishandled on every level and they know it and are tired of it. So are the fans. Time for Gus to go.

I hope the players are losing it. They shouldn't have to endure playing for subpar coaches. Maybe some sort of out break in the locker room will bring about change. They are giving their blood, sweat and tears for a bunch of morons that keep trying to put a square peg in a circular hole.

Well the screens work ALL the time in practice... So...

It's blatantly obvious we're asking too much of our linebackers in the passing game. So much so that I think it is effecting our run fits. I'm afraid we're stuck with Gus for the remainder of the season. Something has to change in our philosophy or we will just continue to be beaten like a drum. Our only successful 3rd down stop on defense seemed to occur when we just rushed 7 and gave Rivers no chance to even look down field.

Other teams in the NFL actually watch tape and if you aren't making them respect something down the field they'll just stop your bread and butter.

Our WR screens are slow developing. Watch others teams and see how quickly the play develops.

Because they run 9,567 of them in a game.

I hear you, and agree, only it appears this is largely falling on deaf ears. The Jaguars have always struggled on the west coast, and all this game says to me is that this much hasn't changed. My hope is the loss hits these players hard, and that they react to this by taking our their frustrations on the Ravens next week. Simply put, I'm not throwing in the towel just yet by firing Gus. I'm at least giving him through the London game to possibly save face.

As a side note, I do think our secondary will be considerably improved with Prince and Colvin back. Nothing against House and Ramsey, but those two were stretched thin.
