But the reality smokescreen or not.  Unless Blake proves otherwise.   We don't have a qb.  And the majority want to add insult to injury and draft a rb that does not fit in our system to plug and play and hope it works.

This time of year I just sit back and wait.  We have no clue what the PTB are thinking or what games they are playing.  One week before the draft is all mind games.  They all know it but when under pressure you second guess yourself and question your every decision.  Thursday evening will be here soon enough.   I am hoping TC and Caldwell hit a grand slam for us, while making the stinking tacks look like chumps with the mind games.

Accept if ya look at bears.  They have had Watson in numorous times and shown zero interest in Mitch.  Plus Watson in mocks have been to 6 and 10.  So your hate with Watson is on par with mine of fournette. 

 

That should not be drafted at four or in top 10.

 

And don't get me wrong.  We both have legitimate reasons why.  So both could be 100% correct.

If we're going qb at #4 it's for Trubisky.



As an aside, there was a rumor about Blake being traded to Arizona. I'm not sure where that came from, but if there is anything to the qb at #4 rumor, than there might be more to this trade rumor as well.


At #4 it's gotta be Trubisky who can go anywhere from #1 to #10. Anyone else can be had in a trade down most likely.

This was never a rumor. It was an opinion piece of trades that the writer (a nobody) would like to see happen.

Honestly I don't mind. I am no expert. If there is a guy the Jaguars FO feel is worth it at 4 and will be a franchise QB that can carry this team to W's I am all for it. I don't think we will be drafting QB, but I wouldn't be 100% against it as long as we pick the right one.

The reluctance for me stems from who is evaluating and picking the QB. Dave is the one who gave us trash Bortles. What makes you think he won't pick another bust?

Could it also just be to scare the Browns into taking Trubisky? Jags might just want to ensure that they get one of Garrett, Allen, or Thomas who could all be gone if a QB doesn't come off the board. Or pick your player if you don't think it's one of those three that they're interested in.
