One gripe I also have is making Josh Allen drop back in coverage...

Just doesn't end up as the best use for his skillset.

Right? The fact that they continue to drop our best pass rusher into coverage is as dumb as it gets.

I agree. I have no idea why they keep dropping Allen in zone.

...which is why I keep him around. I think next year we pursue another top pass rusher early and move on from Chiasson. Having talent on the opposite side of Allen will open up his chances to get to the QB. For now, teams can focus almost solely on him, and have no fear of the pass rush getting home.

I have never seen a player out of position more than him and that's not an exaggeration... He absolutely looks lost out there in coverage and is a tremendous liability.

I truly miss Poz manning the middle of the field ensuring our defense was set up correctly - and I'm sure Jack misses him too.

He lets emotion/adrenaline get the best of him and is undisciplined. This leads to overpursuit, broken coverage, or dumb penalties.

If he could get that rush under control, he's got stellar physical talent. It's just that mental thing that gets in the way.
