No one said anything about moral victories. It’s acceptance of the fact this isn’t a good football team yet. They will be. We can complain about the inevitable loss, or embrace the improvement and what the future holds.

It's an assumption that they will be, considering we see "improvement", which makes it a moral victory. Last night's loss was not inevitable, neither were the last three.

Call it what you will, but it doesn’t change the fact we don’t have a deeply talented roster with a rookie QB and coach. That’s just the way it is. We are at a distinct disadvantage against almost all other teams. Projecting your expectations does not alter reality.

But we've been told this. So many times. Be patient. This is it.

On the stat sheet, it's a loss, same as it was week 1 in Houston. If you are choosing to be blind enough to equate those two games at that most basic level, well, you probably should have checked out before the preseason was over. Wins are all that matters, right? We busted our butts, held a lead, and still walked away with a loss. Might as well not bother next weekend, right? Learned helplessness has afflicted this team for a decade.

this is probably more directed at flsg, but anyone that nervous about a loss streak, do you honestly think Buc fans give one crap about that record, especially now that they are one of the top contenders in their conference, and have multiple Lombardis in their trophy case?

Lol, I went to those games at The Sombrero and yeah, decades of futility still rankles. If you think two Lombardis in 40 years makes that better you're wrong.
