OK, you all know that I DIDN't have to put what personal info I did about me to start off this thread, but I wanted you to have a better understanding of how I formed my opinions on this issue so...... For the record, I'm straight, was married for 11 years but it just didn't work out in the long run. We were like oil and water near the end.... I have a daughter by another girl I met before I met my then wife, hell, back in my 20's (During the 1980's) I was in a bar everynight chasing the female of the species...... Yeah, I went to bed with Catherine Bach and woke up with Bella Azbug more than once but..... They all look good at closing time.

Like I said in my opening statement, where I draw the line is where these Radical Activist shove the life style down our collective throats. Kids as young as 12 really do not have the capacity to understand, or even make a concious choice about their life, or their sexuality in general. I'm a very private person for the most part, I do not force anything on anyone. I just enjoy doing this activity because like I said, it's a great stress reliever for me.

As for the Drag Clubs, there are very few that solely cater to that life style. As for the G/L/B/T Lounges I go to (There is a Great one King Street Jax), Most of them welcome CD's in to their fold. I've met some really great people in places like that. From the Fabulously Flamboyant, t0o people to look at them you would think that atre just gpoing about their day to day lives taking care of business. One thing these people I've met all have in common, they are REAL people and are NOT judgemental. For the most part, they just want to live their lives in peace and not bother anyone and to be left alone.

I've been all over the eastern 1/3 of the country, met a lot of good people, but on the flipside, I've met a lot of phoney baloney plastic banana straight people that would judge you, act like your friend, and yet stab you in the back the 1st chance they got so...... Yeah I know there are a lot of good people out there, and quite a few of them are right here on this message board so I just try to live my life on peace and get along with everyone. I know that's not possible to do, but I try..... I do not judge anyone for any reason, I treat people with respect and the way I want to be treated but...... I know their are a few [BLEEP] out there that do not respect anyone or anything so.... I don't let people like that get to me...... If you haven't, don't Google it.  I have, and I was really disturbed by it.  Like you said, adults can do what adults want, but kids shouldn't be taught or encouraged to do certain things.  I see Desmond and I feel bad for him.  I think, there must be some adult in his life who needs to be prosecuted.  Kids should not perform this way, not for other kids and not for adults.  Yet nothing is done.

No one except parents should be teaching kids about sex, gender identity or anything else of such a personal nature. If a parent decides they don't want to teach their kid about something that is their damn business. All I ask is they're taught kindness, manners, self respect and to respect others. But if they're not taught these things so be it. Life will only be difficult for them.

I was exposed to things of a sexual nature (for lack of a better description) at a young age and it was not helpful or useful. I lacked the ability to understand what I saw and heard and it just was not good.

I knew one where I work. I think they even switched sometime recently before I worked with them for a bit. Let's just say that if you didn't know, you would probably have doubts. He was large but women at his size tend to look manlier though so it was passable as just ugly if you didn't look closely. Not as bad as the US health general or whatever title but similar to that.

Thankfully he didn't need to tell anyone about it and really kept it to himself unless you wanted to bring it up. He had kids and an ex-wife and now a girlfriend but was calling themselves lesbians.


No one really cared but most people also didn't approve of it. Most people will tolerate you if you don't bother them but these people want your approval, acceptance, and praise for their struggles and choices. You have to approve and accept their choice so they feel validation and praise. It's mostly physiological, they are looking for acceptance and belonging with a group when they have been told and groomed to believe they don't fit in anywhere, are different, are now white and evil, etc. Then you say just become LBGTOPRURJFJ+ and everyone will love you, you will belong in this group.

You're so naive. Just because people didn't nail it down 10 years ago for you doesn't make them wrong. It's part of the end game. It makes rational sense if you're a progressive, which would disturb you if you had any vision. You can already see the movement beginning to take root: teaching children about their sexuality WAY too early, reduced sentencing for child porn, removing pedophilia as a mental disorder and making it a sexual preference, and a slowly increasing support in the progressive movement. You shouldn't have to always wait to see what's right in front of your face.

I haven't followed the transgender "movement" that closely (though I believe it's more of a mental health than biological issue).  Are there recognized sub-classifications for post-transition sexual preferences?  Is a man-turned-woman who is attracted to men a "straight" trans, whereas attracted to females would be a "lesbian" trans?

Well, you were right Mike; I Googled and shouldn't have.  Agree with you on prosecution; sentences all around please!  With no chance of parole.

The difficulty is, if you've ever had a daughter involved in dance, they often teach suggestive moves in suggestive costumes even though the little girls usually have no idea what they're doing. 
Desmond's parents are arguing that this is the case with their son.  He is wearing female clothes and doing female dance moves, but he's innocent as to sex.  But, the kid's 15 or so now, so I presume he knows something about something, although I guess he didn't when he started.
We aren't the first people to suggest that the parents should be prosecuted.  There have been hundreds of complaints to CPS and many investigations.  They've repeatedly found that the mom is always there when he dances, and that no one is violating the kid, and that there is no public nudity.  
It seems that the laws just weren't written with this kind of possibility in mind.  It's a real shame.
