Francious in my opinion is not the problem. That defense is as overrated as it gets.

Listening to Rick balou talk about them I was thinking they were going to be the next damn steel curtain.

A lot of football to be played though.

This true freshman QB is starting to scare me. This is lining up to be the perfect storm opening loss.

I don't watch Ole Miss much, but they got pounded by the Gators last year. Did they get that much better, or is FSU just playing bad?

Quote:FSU is going to get beat like a rented mule. They are looking way overrated at #4. Just goes to show you how meaningless preseason rankings are.

Every year teams are overrated because of what they did the previous several seasons regardless of how much their rosters changed in the offseason. Case in point: Oregon was ranked in the top 5 minus Marcus Mariota and could not win the North division. I think FSU is also a team that tends to be overrated because of recent success, although the Seminoles did have the #1 recruiting class IIRC.

No. Francois has been far from the problem. He's played about as well as one could play given the way his supporting cast has played.

I watched the Alabama/Ole Miss game last year. After that win the Rebels skyrocketed in the rankings because logic says if you beat a top 5 team, you must be a top 5 team. The Gators sent them back to Earth the next week. That showed everyone the Alabama game was an exceptional one for Ole Miss.

They have the talent to be. Our DC is about as clueless as it gets.

If Jeremy Pruitt were still running this defense, I can almost be sure things would be different. You wouldn't see 15 guys running wide open, and we damn sure wouldn't be getting pushed around like we are.

Yeah he's getting very little from Cook and his defense is getting shredded. Some coaches would make the change to the more experienced guy to provide a spark, but I think Jimbo is going to hold firm with Francois.

It was a fluke. Noles shaking off the rust, they'll take over now. You suck, Ole Miss.

Francois needs to learn to slide or get out of bounds. I applaud the effort, but you aren't Cam Newton man.
