snowy is the new TMD. Please, keep posting the same bleeping thing in every thread. It's definitely doing wonders for the usual posters' opinion of your insights.

It could be worse. We could be the Colts, Broncos or Texans. Those 3 are bad and are in disarray on both sides of the ball. At least we've improved on offense.

If you want any sort of "bright side" the lions have scored 30+ in 6 games and 40+ in two. So it's not just us, but man it still sucks.

To quote good ole Willie Nelson...

Turn out the lights, the party's over
They say that, 'All good things must end'
Let's call it a night, the party's over
And tomorrow starts the same old thing again.

Of course in our case, the party never really started in the first place but there's always next year!

That is simply not true.  The Jags held the Lions to -1 yard at the end of the game when the Lions took a knee on 1st and 2nd down to run out the clock.  I'm thinking that STOP will allow for some defensive momentum heading into the next game.

1st & 10 at JAX 31

(0:53 - 4th) N.Sudfeld kneels to JAX 31 for no gain.

2nd & 10 at JAX 31
(0:33 - 4th) N.Sudfeld kneels to JAX 32 for -1 yards.

END GAME

But but

What happens if we lose to a winless texans in jacksonvillr whilst simultaneously winning against a winning texans in texanville while snapping our losing streak against a winless texans meaning that texans are now winless again so they r the winlesstexans

It's pretty much over. The only way I could see us taking the division at this point is if Derrick Henry gets a season ending injury on the first play of this sundays game against the Tacks tbh. We need to sweep them, and need them to lose out realisticly.

That were even mad about this in December shows how far we came this year.

When Amon Ra has been healthy, Detroit has been a top 10 offense this season.

I feel better now.  So, in reality, our D actually overachieved yesterday?

Hey stop being so negative. We held them to 40 points. At the least it was not a 50 burger!

Agree.  Falling from the 40th floor balcony is much better than falling from the 50th floor balcony.

Snowy modeled himself after TMD, or folks like him, starting a few years ago.  Dude believes doing this crap makes him a board guru of some sorts.  TMD was the coolest, man!  Not an attention-starved, look-at-me, look-at-me loser at all!

Snowy, just in case you are paying attention, you have modeled your posting style here after some of the biggest jerks in the history of this board (and other boards for that matter).  Any chance you could stop it and return to a time when you were less beat up by this team?  I know it's a big ask, but give it a shot if you can.

I was not excusing the Jags putrid performance.

I was merely saying viewing Detroit as "only a 4-8" team ignores the fact that their offensive when healthy is much, much better than that record indicates.

Week 13's performance was about just as bad as allowing the Redskins with Wentz, the Broncos with Wilson, or Texans with Mills to score go ahead TD's in the 4th quarter.
