Not looking too good for Cooks and Harris as Jags.

Saw where Derek Barnett from the Eagles is looking for a trade.

Cooks will be picked up by a WR hungry team as soon as he’s released. I think he led the league (preseason) in yards per catch. (5 minimum).

Bro is 6’4 and can catch the football and he can run.

I heard the tail end of something on 1010 that said Parker Washington can only play slot and he might not make the final 53. He didn’t do enough to unseat Agnew, and let’s be real, he had to do a lot to surpass Swagnew. I think he is Practice Squad which could leave a small chance for Cooks to make it. I don’t think Cooks makes it but there’s a small chance.

Agnew is in a different stratosphere of an athlete as Washington, his acceleration is other worldly.

I would not be surprised if one of Cooks, Harris or Williams makes the final roster over Washington.
Respect the game.  Play with a sense of urgency.

1.)  Take care of the ball.  Win the turnover battle.

2.)  It's all about 3rd down.  Win on 3rd down to win the game.

3.) Playmakers make plays.  The only reason that you put your uniform on is to make plays. In order to EARN your paycheck, you must make plays.

Learn from the great collapse of 2023.

Washington would be Agnew's current backup and future replacement (possibly) - he's not in competition with him this season

Based on the team moving away from Claybrooks as the backup returner and using Washington there all preseason - I think they fully intend to roster Washington as a back up returner and depth/developmental slot receiver

But anything is possible right now for WR #6 on this roster - plenty of intriguing talent to choose from

He had a great preseason but it felt that this was how it was going to end. There are backups that seem available from other teams so hopefully we can get him on the PS.

Yep, or CJ for that matter. I think we could have kept Rourke for depth or trading stock.

I am confident Baalke has been working the phones trying to get a pick or something for some of these guys before they are cut.

Yeah.  If he gets hurt, we're screwed.  Beathard will lose us some games.  Just like that bonehead completion at the end of the half Saturday.

Rourke could get us a 5th round pick if played correctly

He pushed beathard into something. 8/10 for 134. I think he's a guy you try to get on the ps. This year we have to have a guy we feel comfortable enough with to helm the ship during a playoff run. If this were trees rookie year I would be more Gung ho about keeping him.

One of the bigger relievers should make the 53. I like the idea of Parker Washington, but I like 6'4 with bal skills more.

I see JRob got cut by the Giants. Fear for the guy. Hardly played for the Jets and now can't get on the Giants roster. That injury really hurt him as he was a productive RB.

I believe he'd be an upgrade from Herndon.
