Hopefully the Bat Signal has been sent up for Superuser. He’s probably on vacation. That’s when the board goes down.

Outages when I look away? That's when it always happens.

Funny you should say that.  A while back when we were having issues I contacted him and he told me he would look into it, but was on vacation at the time.

I contacted him a couple of days ago, and we are working on troubleshooting the issue.

Is there any way that some of rest of us can help with the running and stability of the forum. The regularity of the 522 errors has already caused some people to create alternative forums 

I know many people who have offered technical expertise or financial donations to help improve this forum for this community that we all enjoy.

A short-term fix is to only allow the search function to be usable after login.  Searches such as 'poster' plus 'keyword' can put stress on the mysql database.

Someone fix this garbage.

Yesterday was some of the best Jags content in a very long time but the board was dead. Baalke got fired and we couldn't all celebrate together. Horrible.

Now we are in the middle of a HC search AND GM search and the board is dead because of whatever reason. Get some good programmers and fix it.

This is the first time I've been able to do anything here since Sunday. Baalke fired/HC and GM search, Trump taking office, California burning and snow falling across the SE in record numbers and I haven't been able to share in any of this with you crazy people.
