They have been having a identity crisis since he's been here and now it's turning into a full blown midlife crisis. Players are not executing enough when their numbers are called and the staff is not calling easy, lay-up type of plays that we see from other teams that are successful consistently.

Not one screen was called on those last two drives yesterday on offense and their defense, knowing full well that they have a pretty good secondary, they were leaving the middle of the field wide open. Perfect time for a screen there to Engram or BTJ. But, nope, a [BLEEP] wheel route to Johnson there as the primary read? Really?

I've been saying this since last year...  Glad people are finally seeing the light.

I know you are down on Trevor Lawrence.  But I think he's a franchise QB with the right coaching staff.  Trevor misses Jim Bob.  We all do.  Ben Johnson as the HC, provided that it is clear he is responsible for the offensive game plan, play calling, etc., would have us winning the division next year.  Hire Salah as the DC to run the defense, and we're golden.
I wouldn't say I am down on Lawrence just yet. Have cited many different things about him this season in various threads.

I am more down on ownership, the front office and coaching staff than I am on Lawrence.

Lawrence still has time on his side and he can and I think he will inevitably turn it around in 2025, potentially 2026.

I think we need a strong defensive mind in our organization and I think we should go the exact same route Washington just went in one off season.

You bring in a strong defensive minded headcoach along with a strong offensive coordinator and you get the right general manager in here that knows how to [BLEEP] draft and pinpoint the players this new staff needs to succeed.

Fair enough... I'm not the type of poster that will hold you to the things you said about something when you were passionate.

Personally, I'd rather have a strong Offensive Minded HC to run the offense, and then get a good DC.  But either way, it's long over due to get rid of the Pederson and his offensive staff.

I still think that if Shad would promote Boselli to EVP, I think Boselli would figure things out.  Boselli is die hard Duval.  He's been here the whole time.  He knows the city, he knows the culture, he knows what it takes to be successful.

For the last 3 weeks, Boselli has been harping on how having a solid O-Line dictates the toughness of a team.  I think he's the best chance we have to turn this thing around within the off-season.  He's not going to pitter patter around.  He's gonna go find the best available front office and coaching staff.  He's got credentials, he's got a reputation.  He's got the moxy.

I think he also has the ear of the owner.  I'm holding my breath.  We have to get a jump on the off-season.  I'm hoping Shad recognizes that there is an urgency to get a jump on the off-season.
