Rumor has it that hackenberg has been atrocious so far. Geno doesn't look like he's ever going to reach that potential.

Bryce petty has a big opportunity. He's going to want to capitalize.
Coughlin when asked if winning will be a focus: "What the hell else is there? This is nice and dandy, but winning is what all this is about."

Methinks Bryce is still a little salty from Bortles beating him in the Fiesta Bowl. Womp womp.

Hes going to be behind Hackenburg after the preseason too I bet.

If all else fails, hes got a helluva Nascar name.

He was the former Clemson QB?

Has he played a snap in the NFL?

I may be mis-remembering here, but IIRC he once had a great bowl game vs Baylor? If he is the same kid I am thinking of, I expected a better NFL career so far (all jets QB jokes aside)

In his pre-Jacksonville career, Bryce Paup lit it up.

Just so I am understanding this...a 3rd string QB-at best-on his team is talking smack about what he's going to do to other 3rd stringers in the first preseason game, where there is no game planning, etc?

Is there a link to this insanity?

I hope Chris Smith and Tyrone Holmes put him on the turf repeatedly.

Saying he "wants to light it up" is much different from saying he's going to do so.

The thread title is misleading, unless I have missed something...like the OP's own edit!

Ricky Williams "Lit it up". Bryce should expect strenuous drug testing after that statement.

He was drafted out of Baylor a couple years ago.

Brett Favre was an interception machine his first couple years in the league. The TDs came a bit later, but he finished the all time INT leader.
Only a chump boos the home team!

Hackenberg has been atrocious so far because he's a terrible QB. I look forward to watching him tank tonight and never hearing about him again until he's cut.

Not true. The TDs were there from the very start - witness his first ever NFL pass.
