Right now, Deon Grant has it by a wide margin.

 

Lake was good while he was here, but he wasn't here that long.

 

Logan wasn't that good to me at all.

 

Don't even get me started on Chris Hudson.

Mike Logan? He was average. Lake was great for a year, then injured for a year, then cut. Grant is easily the best we've had.

Gipson used the same line in the post practice press availability, but there was additional context.  He said coming from the bottom in Cleveland to a team on the rise like Jacksonville, he felt honored.  He also said that it's his goal to show that, while he got paid to come here, that when the dust settles, the feeling will be that he exceeded expectations.

I have high hopes that Gipson will be the game changer that has been missing from this defense since Gus came aboard. My only concern is that if he goes down with injury we're going to be right back where we started at free saftey again.

If we presume good health from Ramsey, I think Amukumara or Colvin-once he returns from suspension- could play FS at a pretty decent level for us.
