Wow...just wow. Check out this 3 round mock

Pass. He has problems reminiscent of Randy Gregory.

Considering how good next years class will be. If Blake sucks and the Jags go 3-13 again, you're looking at Darnold who is twice the propspect Trubisky is.

The year after Bortles was drafted you had Mariota and Winston...

Quote:Yeah man there isnt going to be any other teams in range of the top qb prospects who could feasibly pick before us. Planning years in advance of who youre going to pick is a full proof plan.
These QBs aren't good. They're 2nd round prospects who are being hyped up just because they're QBs.

Jags shouldn't take one just because they can. If one happens to fall to the 2nd round they like that's ok but not at #4.

Now now.  Let's settle down here.  A QB at #4 makes complete sense if you look at the picture in the article.  He's a tongue out QB.  Those are the guys you've just gotta have.

Never argue with idiots. They drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.

I didnt say the Jags should take any of these guys. Its painfully obvious were not going to so ive never bothered with the thought to begin with, but i dont particularly want any of them.

But the idea that we can just get a franchise qb next year if this one doesnt work out as if there arent going to be multiple other teams with much worse rosters and just as much of a need at QB as us this time next year is foolish. If we go 3-13, theres still feasibly like 3 teams that could finish above us in draft position. And if blake manages just a smidge of competence and we crank out 5-6 wins then kiss Darnold and that washington QB goodbye.
