Who are the guys you hate?

Quote:Jonathan Allen. I think he will have a Tyson Alualu kind of impact.

I kind of agree with this..

I wouldn't go that far, but I do agree there's little chance we look back in a few years and think "Yeah, that guy is a top 5 player from that class."

This is easy. Fournette and Cook.

How ironic you hate the two best running backs in college football.. You probably gonna hate seeing one of them in a jag jersey too.

Quote:Your 1000 and 8 changed pretty quickly once it was pointed out how blah that would actually be for a top 5 pick haha.

I'm not changing my thoughts on Fournette. I asked NYC a specific question.

Not sure where your pointing anything out to me.

I just noticed how like a week ago you said Fournette would get 1000 and 8 for us in his rookie year. Then when I pointed out that would actually not be very good the numbers switched to 1300 and 12.

1000 and 8 tds would he good if he's splitting time with Ivory/Yeldon.

Go ahead and add Fabian Monroe to my list. Now I don't hate him by any means, but I hate how he's suddenly termed the second best CB in this draft just because he stood out at the combine. If you want to take someone based strictly on their combine, take Jalen Myrick. ...although when to take Myrick is the a real tough question.

Yep that was my point, the numbers are either bad or they're good for a rotation back. Unfortunately, a guy who is still just part of the RB rotation isn't worth a top 5 pick either.

That didn't have anything to do with this thread. I don't mind debating football with you. But come on man, don't be annoying.

Thankfully, I won't have to worry about that. Coughlin isn't stupid enough to draft one at 4.

Is this an implication of how he Allen is essentially going to be playing with no arms when his 3 shoulder surgeries and possible arthritis rear their head? If so that was subtle and astute.

I get it. It's a "bust". Took me a minute to get it

We drafted Taylor 9 and that's only because Curtis Ennis got taken at 5 or whatever. Took David Wilson in the first too. It's not like he hasn't taken running backs high before.

Calling Deshawn Watson a future bust since 3/19/17. If I eat crow, I will keep this in here and proclaim JackCity a genius.

Wow. Man-splaining 101.

I'm trying to make myself more informed and less opinionated.

Stop saying whatever stupid thing you're talking about and pay attention to all the interesting things I have to say!

Quote:I'll go with Jake Butt and Sidney Jones because I don't want players that have to sit out their rookie season.

I'll also say Watson because of the whole throwing speed thing.

...and Marlon Mack... the more I hear the less I want him.

Also I'm still hating on Adoree until I know what Mayock is saying about him.

Also at TE... nothing wrong with Gerald Everett per say... great receiver ... willing blocker. ... but he's just too darn small.
What he said...Also, add Marshon Lattimore to that list!  In fact, I don't want to see the Jags take a CB in the first 4 rounds.  As good as Lattimore may be in many people's eyes, it is not an area of need, nor the value at #4 after nabbing Bouye.  I'd rather see us reach for a player on the OL like Ramczyk, Robinson or Lamp before Lattimore.

Likewise, I believe we need to give Blake another year before throwing the baby out with the bath water and drafting a QB to replace him. I've seen some positive things from him even though he may not be the elite player we had projected of him.  Yeah, we probably waited too long on drafting Leftwich's replacement so I get it.  But, once we beef up the OL with draft picks this year we can then evaluate after the 2017 season.  If he then has another crap season, we will have another top 10 draft pick and I can see a QB in the cards in the '18 draft.
