I think you guys are forgetting one thing. Mike Mularkey will destroy all of these guys their first year. Its all moot.
That's a good trade for the tacks, but I'm surprised they didn't receive more especially since early before the draft.
One more thought. The Rams didn't have to move up to #1 to get the QB. They could have made a less expensive move to 2 if there was someone they really wanted. Unless they were afraid of someone else moving up to #1. That was an expensive move for the Rams. They better be sure about who they are taking.

Wow. Titans are setting themselves up for the future.
This definitely helps the jags draft but the Titans may have 2 top 10 picks next year.
Bad trade for the Rams, good for Tennessee. Thought Rams would have learned their lesson with the time they screwed over Washington.
Great trade by the tacks. Not only do they pick #15,they should have enough ammo now to get another pick in RD.1 this draft, plus still have the Rams #1 next season

Quote:Rams- WentzI think the Browns trade out of #2 or pick a QB. I think Bosa goes top 5 too.
Titans are going to build the right way. 6 picks in the first 3 rounds this year and 5 (as of now) next year. That roster has the opportunity to be talented should they hit on majority of those picks.

Probably Carson Wentz. Quote:Short term gain, long term loss. tacks got an awful lot of picks for that #1 spot. It's not a long term loss yet. They actually have to turn those picks into viable players. The Rams got a boatload of picks after the Eric Dickerson trade in 1987, and by 1992 were among the worst teams in football. The Rams also got a boatload of picks after the RGIII deal, but they never passed the mediocre stage and never reached the post season in the aftermath. The tacks have a lot of 2nd round and 3rd round picks, but nothing is guaranteed. Worst to 1st. Curse Reversed!

Interesting. Great haul for the Titans, still think they could of got more, especially from going from 1 to 15, but that is a ton of fire power and unsettling for teams like us in their division. 6 picks in the first 3 rounds, yeeesh.
This almost guarantees the Jags will get either Ramsey, Bosa or Jack. So the silver lining is, good chance we get a top defender in this draft. Do not be so sure the Browns take a QB, especially with the Rams jumping them. Could be taking the guy the Browns want, Browns seem set on not being the Browns any more and actually doing things the right way. Read recently they want to shore up the O line, I believe Tunsil now is in prime position to be a Brown. If we get lucky, they Browns take a QB, but I'm thinking Tunsil is going to them. 1. QB of their choice 2. Tunsil 3. Ramsey 4. Jack 5. Bosa I think the Jags land Bosa. May not be the most popular pick, but it fills a need and he is a good player, we shall see if he transitions to the pros well.
I don't see how this helps the Jags that much. Everyone thought the Titans were taking Tunsil. Now you're just replacing Tunsil with a QB. So if their 3 best players are Jack,Ramsey, and Bosa, they're in the same predicament.
This is another one of those times that makes you think a higher power really does have it in for the Jaguars.

Because it increases the chances another QB goes in the top five and Tunsil has a decent shot at being drafted by San Diego. |
