I was talking about Trump supporters...Doesn't make it a left v right issue. Apart from general bigotry what do Trump supporters believe in? They are happy to follow their flip flopping leader who can go left to right on an issue depending on the perceived response.

Corporations don't pay taxes. Whatever the tax rate is, it is built into their prices. Their customers pay the taxes.


 

When the government taxes corporations it can manipulate the tax laws to pick the winners and losers. That's a sure path to corruption. The best policy is to completely eliminate the corporate tax. No tax law manipulation means no opportunity for corruption (of course there are other means of picking favorites, but at least a big part of that would be eliminated). Eliminating corporate taxes would have a beneficial side effect of having a lot of multinational corporations moving their headquarters to the US, creating more high-paying administrative jobs.
