Unfair treatment of Trump

#21

Quote:Paying politicians to get free reign over using eminent domain to steal property from people is not what I would call a thing that is synonymous with upstanding folks.

Last time I checked, eminent domain is legal and necessary. And the definition of stealing would be to take without paying. So when that individual receives sometimes 3x-4x the properties worth, that kinda throws stealing out the window..

Necessary for things like airports, hospitals, and schools; not for things like casinos, parking lots, and office buildings that are privately owned.

Oh and you can steal something even while paying for it. If I am using the power of the law to take your property that you don't wish to sell then putting money in your hand against your will, it is still theft.

Does it really matter what it's for? As long as the homeowner is heavily compensated.. And in the case of this little old lady Coking, she didn't lose her homestead to Trump.

I would imagine that schools, hospitals, and airports are more important than a casino or an office building.

Again, if you have something you don't want to sell to a private entity or person, it doesn't matter if you are compensated if the acquisition is not approved of by the owner.

Again, disliking Trump for being a carnival barker is not a trait only to Bernie voters.

Libertarian actually. Knowing that they won't win. We need more than two parties and if a third party gets 11% of the vote they can participate in presidential campaign debates. If Trump ran third party, I would vote for him just for that reason. Not because I like the guy but because we need more than just two parties dominating our political system.

I am pretty pragmatic about stuff. I just really don't like Trump because until he talks hard politics about plans etc. I can't get on board with the playing to the masses banter.

It reminds me too much of Obama in '08. He just said "Hope and Change' and said a bunch of populist nonsense. No real plans and people bought right into it. I loath it.

Claims he will whip ISIS. Knock the snot out of them ( Says Mr.Deferment)

Afraid to speak at a local college.

Tough guy.

Oh yeah...didn't want any violence. Now wants violins.

Sounds like change we can believe in.

S'ok, just punch 'em. The Donald will pay your legal bills in the unlikely case you're actually arrested.

If the masses are truly behind it though, doesn't that tell you that this country is in desperate need of change, and the run of the mill politician?

The country is in desperate need of change, and the run of the mill politician.

Yes.

But not the guy who financially supported the run of the mill politicians. Who in this century was a Dem longer than a Pub. Who's money helped re-elect Reid and Pelosi and got the ACA passed by one vote as a result. That guy is a part of the problem.

Trumpettes will tell you casinos benefit the public by offering relief to gambling addicts.
