Quote:Oh, come on. If a person wants to be President of the United States, doesn't he have to be better than that? Shouldn't he have more self-control than that?

That is Trumps appeal, though. He says what his crowd is thinking. The president doesn't have to be this posh, meek individual who only speaks in carefully crafted talking points with planned pitch increases.

Quote:Race relations have dropped to their lowest point since the 60s under his reign.

I don't know what he did to cause that, other than being a black President.

Is he going to punch Putin?   Merkel?

I don't understand why not having any self control is a selling point.

Defending Trayvon Martin, Freddie Gray, that radical professor, and other POC who commit crime before having any knowledge on the situation didn't help. The refusal to diaavow BLM isn't helping.

Quote:In 08 obamas supporters carved a B Into a guys forehead.

Did Obama tell them to do that?    There are probably cases in 08 of McCain supporters committing murder.   Does that reflect negatively on McCain?   If you take the millions of people who supported Obama in 08, and find one instance of them doing something bad, is it even statistically significant?

As Doctor Ben Carson puts it, Trumps stage persona of high energy and excitement is different from the cerebral negotiator behind the scenes. He is like a doctor who is in a death metal band on the weekends.

Sent representatives to the funeral of a guy who assaulted a police officer

How about Trump's refusal to disavow The Klan and David Duke?   You want to compare BLM to the Klan?  Come on.

I don't want a doctor who's in a death metal band on weekends.

He did disavow them though, multiple times. Not even comparable.

And somehow, that inflames the white people?   I think that should tell you something.

Only after he caught a bunch of crap about it.   And then he made up some cockamamie excuse about having a bad earpiece.

Taking sides based on race shouldn't inflame people? Are you kidding me? So if GWB defended white criminals at every opportunity without evidence it shouldn't inflame the black community? Come on now.

On a side note, there was a study that says kids who grew up listening to heavy metal actually have higher IQs. Might be on to something here.
