Bklyn...

 

I liked what little I saw of Sample.  I would have liked to see him play with the benefit of all of the minicamps, training camp, preseason and associated reps.

After Vernon he was my number 2 target. Mainly because I didn't think we'd go that hard after Jackson. Getting Malik and Gipson? Love it.

Bingo, and it doesn't prevent them from drafting Ramsey if they think he's the next great DB.  Ramsey can play corner too.  But it also opens the door for Miles Jack at #5.

Mike DiRocco has a good post on ESPN about how the Gibson signing benefits Cyprien by allowing him to play in the box like the team envisioned when it drafted him.

 

It would be nice to see some good play out of Cyprien.  TBH this is his last chance as a Jaguar.

I really like this signing. He has the speed to play the position. Am also glad that we didn't get Weddle because just didn't think he was a good fit. Looks to be a pretty fair contract also.
Respect the game.  Play with a sense of urgency. 


1.)  Take care of the ball.  Win the turnover battle.

2.)  It's all about 3rd down.  Win on 3rd down to win the game.

3.) Playmakers make plays.  The only reason that you put your uniform on is to make plays. In order to EARN your paycheck, you must make plays.  

Learn from the great collapse of 2023.

The strong push for Vernon makes me think Bosa or Spence may be in play in round 1
