I think he should be amongst the most hated tacks for Jaguars fans.

 

He stiff armed us when we went after him as a FA last year.  Then he orchestrated a trade to Tennessee. 

 

If we do nothing else, I want him completely shut down by our defense.

Good move by Eagles. Bad for the tacks. Me personally I would've kept my draft pick and used that cap space towards Doug Martin. He's younger and has less wear and tear on his body. You'll be lucky to get 3 more years out of Murray.

I dunno the Eagles didn't have the great OLine that Dallas did which I am sure hindered a part of his lack of production, but I think the problems he had with Chip Kelly & the scheme hurt too....

 

He (DeMarco Murray) claims he took a year off in Philly & is now ready to go to work... if that's true, it might make the Titans Offense hard to beat...

He probably won't see as many carries if demarco stays healthy but they could have gone that route.

It's a low cost trade, but I still don't really understand the move. If they released him the titans would have been the first team in the waver order and could have picked him up then.

 

So, he's a player in decline with a big contract whose team didn't want him, and who could have been picked up on wavers by the titans anyway.

 

What were the titans afraid of? That someone else would want to trade for him? If that were the case then why did it take such a minor offer to get him?

 

The titans got completely suckered, bid against themselves it seems. It's reminiscent of how ridiculous Caldwell was about not allowing Henne to test free agency. Bafflingly stupid.

The way I read it was that it "felt" like he took a year off because they gave him about half the carries.
