Kiper Mock 2.0

#21

Quote:Sure. Guy only had 17 tackles for loss, 10.5 sacks on top of 6 other QB hurries, in a defense that is not even geared to let big ends put up those kinds of numbers, and is 6'7'' 290lbs with a great motor. But he is a joke.

Great motor lol.

Better motor than Bosa.

Are we comparing Buckner's tackle for loss and sack numbers with Bosa's ?

Did not see this thread.

Agreed completely, and would be livid at this point if Buckner were taken by the Jaguars over any of these three guys.

Worst to 1st.  Curse Reversed!

And pray tell why exactly is Buckner such an inferior prospect to the other three? Because he hasn't been hyped up by the media all season? Ok.

By the way a DB hasn't gone higher than 5 in the last 18 years since Woodson went 4 to the Raiders. I don't see Ramsey breaking that trend.

I agree, but I kinda hope he does that way it will probably leave us with Jack or Bosa

None of them are completely surefire prospects so I'm not putting a preference into any specific guy.

-Bosa is a better run defender and isn't necessarily going to be a double digit premiere sack guy. He has the potential, but it would be based a lot on his effort and the motor he would need to do that is extremely inconsistent.

-Jack has special athleticism and coverage skills but his ability against the run right now is questionable.

-Ramsey is a better tool box than he is a player right now imo.

The more I look into it the more meh I feel about this draft right now. A lot of "ifs" no matter who we take and I don't think any of these guys are as safe as people in the media are making them out as. All have potential to bust. Maybe Jack has the least amount.

If I had to choose in my heart of hearts of who I really feel has the best shot of reaching their true potential and being a special player it's probably Ramsey but who knows.

Did I accidentally click on that "helmets and high heels" thread?

Or have you been watching those after school specials on the Lifetime Network again?

Mayock thinks Buckner will go early too......   as an interior lineman.

Doesn't really matter what he calls him. For the Chargers he'd be a right 3-4 end that is basically a 3-tech on passing downs.

Well it's cliche, yeah, but I was referring to his actual "motor" cause I don't see it on tape.

Quote:Mel just laid out his 2nd mock draft. Looks a little something like this:

1. Ten- Tunsil

2. Cleve- Wentz

3. SD- Buckner

4. Dal- Goff

5. Jags- Ramsey

6. Bal- Bosa

7. SF- Jack

8. Mia- Stanley

9. TB- Hargreaves

10. NYG- Spence

Few points. Buckner is first defensive player taken. Jags pass on Bosa and Jack.
I'd be totally shocked if San Diego took Buckner and Dallas took a QB. Even more shocked if the Jags passed on Bosa even if they sign a pass rusher in FA

Really like DJs mock 2.0 even though I think the Ravens take a corner

Quote:All these mocks are well and good, but I really think it depends on what happens in FA before we can get a clearer picture.

Absolutely
