The nature of the hybrid position he played in college certainly has a lot to do with it. 

 

3 INTs isn't prototypical numbers for a corner, but he didn't play the role of a CB on a significant number of snaps.  

 

But - eye of the beholder I suppose. He looks like a freakish athlete that could excel at the safety position in the NFL to me.  When I watch him - I'm not coming away worried about "ball skills."

He looks like? Sounds like you don't really know. When I watch Karl Joseph he looks like a safety ready to ball out at the next level. He does everything.

The college scout on the radio pretty much said what I said, Ramsey is the better athlete, but VH3 is the better player right now and you can plug him in as a rookie and he would be fine, just said Ramsey has more upside.
