I heard on 1010 that FSU had an in home visit yesterday with the #1 prospect in the country (a DE I believe?).  Coming down to them and Ohio State. Really really pulling for FSU on this one.

I know what he said, but no one meets that criteria. No top d-line prospects, besides Bosa and Cooper who have already committed, are even slightly considering OSU. None are considering both FSU and OSU. I heard on 1010 about FSUs visit with #1 junior college prospect Kongbo.

The defensive end's who visited FSU over the weekend aren't even considering Ohio State.

At cornerback, Carlos Becker of Kissimmee and Trayvon Mullen of Coconut Creek remain on the board. The feeling is FSU leads Ohio State for Becker and Mullen is awaiting Becker’s decision to decide if he’ll sign with FSU or LSU or Clemson.

National Signing Day is not an individual day; it's the beginning of a few month period where players can sign a National Letter of Intent. This period is the only time a player can sign a NLI with a school; tons of players will sign first thing tomorrow.

Yeah, I don't think I signed mine until well over a month (maybe two) after signing day.  A lot of the smaller schools will sign guys well after.  They see where guys settle and then go after them.

It has also come out that he decommitted because he didn't meet the eligibility requirements to get into UF.  Is the quote below hyperbole?  Maybe, but not out of the realm of possibilities.

 

"According to a source close to the Florida program, Manuel would have had trouble meeting the academic requirements for UF enrollment. An IMG Academy spokesperson had previously told SEC Country that Manuel had work to do in the classroom."
