Chip Kelly fired by Eagles - merged

This. I feel he is in the same boat as McDaniels. I think they'll be good coaches as long as they don't have GM powers.

I wouldn't worry about that.

<p class="" style="color:rgb(41,47,51);font-family:'Helvetica Neue', Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif;">Among the things DeMarco Murray told owner Jeffrey Lurie weeks ago was that he had no confidence in Chip Kelly as head coach, I'm told.

I wouldn't be shocked if there were others who went to Lurie.

The only viable argument.

Think about the rosters here and there. Which one would you want to coach?
I'm trying to make myself more informed and less opinionated.

Ian Rappaport said Doug Marrone and Hue Jackson are on the short list to replace Chip.

I'd hate to lose Marrone.

Thats if Kelly wants to stay in the NFL

With all the good college jobs gone, Kelly may go there, or wait a year and pick his college team.

Let him go there and ruin another team lol well that team sucks any ways

For people that dont get it

Kelly inherited a good team with a lot of talent and ran all the talent off and rubbed players the wrong way

Gus inherited an awful team and slowly got young talent which only just started really showing in year 3, also doesnt rub players the wrong way.

Chip Kelly traded away/ran off Deshawn Jackson, Jeremy Maclin, Shady McCoy, traded for Sam freaking Bradford, and almost mortgaged everything for Mariota. He deserves to be fired.

One Coach/GM, paid 1 salary, produced a 26-21 season, fired.

A GM, and a Coach, 2 people and paid 2 separate salaries, produced a 12-35 record with no playoffs, retained.

Pros - Titans or Browns

College - UCLA, Texas A&M, or Texas

Sounds like he plans on staying in the NFL. And he's willing to give up personnel control.

If he wants to stay in the NFL I don't think it will be his choice to give up personnel control.

Titans then

But yea the Browns would def want to make that kind of splash

Also 49ers, they have had success with a coach who got his start coaching college and have kap who fits Kelly system better

but lol I dont know if Chip's ego and Kap or Manzeil egos will mesh, Mariota is real low key, thats why him and Chip got along
