No it isn't. One third fans, one third coaches, one third players. Learn before you type.

I doubt Allen Robinson is one of those players who cares more about his statistics than helping the team. He just wants to win games.

ARob is incredibly good. The fact that he only turned 22 at the start of the season is amazing considering what he's achieved this year. 1100+ yards, 13TD's, averaging 16.5YPR. He's a deep threat, he's a redzone threat, he wins jump balls and is consistant.

If he keeps improving he'll be the guy that puts Jacksonville on the map.

By helping the team he can help his statistics and vice versa. Motivation can come from many places including a perceived "snub" from the media or peers.

One guy who puts Jacksonville on the map. Don't forget the guy who is throwing those footballs to him. Then there is the other guy named Allen on this team.

Winning the jump balls is what impresses me the most about him. He does that over and over again. It has been a long time since we had a guy like that.

He clearly cares about the statistics.

Flashy position players usually do, that's why you see WRs complaining about not being targeted. I doubt ARob is the kind of player to complain but they like stats.

Unfortunately the media is not going to call him a Pro Bowl snub this year. They will if he does not make it a couple years from now.

I saw headlines earlier this season about the Allens racking up a lot of fantasy points. IMO that is a good thing because it means they are getting more recognition from NFL fans, not just the media.

I am sure Allen Robinson cares, but he never complains about not getting the ball.

I wish we had fed him the ball more sunday. Throw it up to him in the end zone at least once per trip. All he does is make places.feed him!

He should definitely get the ball more in New Orleans. The Saints have no pass defense.

It is crazy. The only thing I can think of that he could improve is improving his YAC. He's only 22 and will get better.

What happened to their pass defense? Did the bus crash or did they get suspended or something? I haven't heard anything anywhere about the Saints losing their pass defense. Are you making it up?

He also can improve on not dropping the ball. As good as he is at catching it, I have seen some drops earlier this season and wondered what was going on with that.

They had no pass defense all season LOL. It is what got Rob Ryan fired.

Drops happen to the best of WRs. Plus, if I remember correctly, it was an injury that effected him all preseason, and he played Josh Norman week 1.

Duh, I forgot Josh Norman was the guy covering him.

Quote:That's amazing when you consider who else is throwing 20-yard passes this season - Tom Brady, Aaron Rodgers, Andy Dalton, and Cam Newton. Who would guess Blake Bortles completed more passes longer than 20 yards than any of those guys?

Actually that post belongs in the "Records that might fall" thread because you mentioned a former franchise record.

I don't know. It's not a record that might fall. It has already fallen.

Quote:I completely agree on both topics. ARob should be a part of it (although it's "iffy" he'll actually get the nod).

And, fan voting absolutely SHOULD NOT be a part of that process. When a single fan can go in and vote 1000 times or more a day for a player, and then encourage fans of the same players/teams to do so as well, it just screws up the whole process IMO and takes away from players that actually should make it in.

I've been on a few forums of other teams and personally seen posts from people stating that they're continuously voting for someone and encouraging others. Sickening to me.
Fan voting is only 1/3rd.

If the players and coaches think someone should be in the pro bowl they get in.

The reality is that it wasn't just the fans that snubbed our players.
